Located in the very heart of Zagreb, Hotel Dubrovnik is set on Zagreb’s Main Square and has a tradition dating back to 1929. It offers renovated rooms and suites with classical décor and modern amenities.

Excellent Location and Wonderful Service
The staff were wonderful throughout our stay. Both the front desk and housekeeping teams were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection. What especially impressed us was that when we had to leave early in the morning, the hotel prepared breakfast boxes for us to take along, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay with genuinely great service. Would definitely recommend Hotel Dubrovnik for a stay in Zagreb.

Only downside was the room was not cleaned for one night so we’ve run out of amenities. Also, the instructions given to our taxi driver was to go to the airport instead of the bus terminal.

Great location but some room for improvement
The biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of complimentary decaffeinated coffee. Guests had to pay extra for decaf, which seems very outdated for a hotel of this standard. For people who avoid caffeine due to heart or hormonal health concerns, decaffeinated coffee is not simply a luxury or preference—it can be an important option.
Nowadays, even budget hotels, airport lounges, and pubs commonly offer decaffeinated coffee at no additional charge. I was therefore surprised that a hotel of this level, especially in Croatia’s capital, does not provide it as part of the standard breakfast service.
There are many other ways for a hotel to generate additional revenue, but charging guests separately for a basic beverage such as decaffeinated coffee feels unnecessarily restrictive and out of touch with current hospitality standards.
Overall, the location is excellent and the breakfast was good, but this particular policy significantly affected my experience
