Villa Nico

Villa Nico is a smaller private hotel, situated in the peaceful part of Zadar (Diklo), near the coast, only 5 kilometres from the centre of the town. Awaking every morning with a superb view of the sea is what many people dream of.

Nice hotel on the great position.

Nice family hotel with awsome postion,next to the beach.
Parking is vailable on front.
We enjoyed staying here and would recomend it.
Great restaurant and service.
Conection to the city is easy with bus station in front.
All in all great stay.

Very simple but effective for sleeping only.

Simple and obsolete room. Comfortable bedding, nice sea view.
Inn 10min drive from the center of Zadar.
The really negative point is the bathroom. She could use a good refreshment! Shower slightly clogged + smell of sewage.
Breakfast very simple but decent.
Free parking!
This Pension is sufficient for a few nights.
Attention, no elevator. The wifi did not work.

Good for less than a week

If we note the hotel itself, the service is suitable for a 3-star hotel.
Small, friendly old hotel.
Small room but sufficient for 2 nights.
Really low-end bathroom is THE negative point of the hotel.
Free parking, big highlight.
-10% on meals at the adjoining restaurant. And breakfast served by the restaurant included in the room price.
Quite generous breakfast. And the hotel and restaurant staff are really kind and helpful, which is a big plus.
My opinion may not be reliable because I compare Hotel Kastil with Villa Nico which have the same number of stars in the same country, it is not at all the same range of hotel.
And yet Villa Nico is more expensive!
But if we don't compare it's okay it's good
On the other hand you need a vehicle, by car it's not too bad. But it's too far to walk.

4 nights in Zadar

we stayed 4 nights .... from 17 to 21 August and we paid 570 euros with breakfast .... the sea is across the road ..... wonderful sea .... the only thing that is not there is a place nearby to quench your thirst.....there are all houses....and no clubs.....in the evening there isn't enough lighting...it might be convenient to rent an apartment there.. ...but not to stay at Villa Nico......in 4 days they never changed our towels...and the power socket outside our door was half disconnected...and at the entrance there was peeling mortar....which was never cleaned....it means that for 4 days they never cleaned the floor....the power sockets were not on the headboard of the bed... .I sincerely recommend another place...

excellent value

cheap hotel so dont expect the ritz but the rooms were spotless and fresh towels daily. Breakfast looked a bit sparse at first but was made fresh coffee and offered eggs to go with the cheese and ham and bread that was out. The staff were very friendy espcislly Laura. This was my first holiday alone for many years and glad I choose this hotel even Nico the owner made me feel like family.
