Outstanding experience!
We decided to spend our June holiday in Istria in the times of covid19, due to proximity (we live in Serbia) and past experience, so we were looking for a place to stay which would be a bit isolated, with relatively small number of rooms/apartments, swimming pool and green areas. Stancija Ruseti looked like paradise and it actually exceeded our expectations.
We spent 9 days in a ground floor apartment, very spacious and bright and with all necessary amenities. Bed linen was provided and towels were changed every 3 days.
Breakfast was amazing, freshly prepared every morning by the two ladies - Vesna and Mila, with eggs, local prosciutto and hard cheese, hummus, pizzas, pancakes, home baked bread and cakes. There is a very good coffee machine at guests disposal which can be used throughout a day.
The swimming pool was immaculate, warm and spacious, and we mostly spent our afternoons by the pool.
The area around is very green and quiet and you can hear the birds singing all day, which gives you a sense of calmness and provides for a relaxing stay.
Overall this place is perfect for families with small (and bigger) kids, but also for couples looking for a secluded place yet close to many hilltop villages, good restaurants and wineries.
