Our room at Castle 1700 was in the annex, as I had requested. The room and the bathroom we're very clean and comfortable. Mijo was very helpful to us in moving our luggage up and down the steps to our room. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet on one of the two days that we stayed there and it was a very nice breakfast complete with a combination of hot food and cold food options. We really liked staying in the Old City and it was very convenient to many of the shops and the restaurants of old town. I will say that the temperatures outside were very warm while we were there but the air conditioning inside the room was very cool and refreshing and did not disappoint while we were there.

Perfect location, actually within the old palace and just by Riva. As it is in a very old building there are no elevators. Very helpful staff,,quiet room and AC worked well. The breakfast was very good.

Bang in the old town staff super helpful no lift so bangs carried up to 2 nd floor small room tiny bathroom but charming

The staff were very helpful. They met us at the taxi and helped with our bags. The rooms were clean and quiet despite being right in the centre and had everything we needed. The aircon was great which was important as the weather was very hot. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but there are many nice places all within a few minute walk

The location is pretty much as central you can get, just a short walk from the Riva within the Old Town. Both the bus station and catamaran berths are within walkable distance, and a beach can be found just slightly further away.
The room itself is pretty spacious with a view overlooking the harbour. The only minor issue was the WiFi signal which was a bit temperamental at times, but it works well for casual usage. The room was clean and in good condition.
Staff was very friendly and told us everything we needed to know when we arrived. They were also able to store our luggage after checking out.
