Superb and beautiful flowering bougainvilleas

Magnificent hotel to which I give 5 stars for the view, cleanliness, accessibility, comfort, parking, etc.
An on-site restaurant that is affordable and very good. About 35 minutes from Zagreb.

Nice room, friendly staff. A little difficult to find parking but staff was very helpful. Nice to be able to take a swim right outside of the hotel.

A great surprise

I stayed at this hotel on the second day of opening after the winter break but found everything neat and clean. The hotel is an out of the center of the small town but is in a wonderful position as it is arranged on a slope overlooking the sea so much so that it also has a small private beach which is accessed through a few flights of stairs and in this regard, I point out that this is the only aspect to take into account as the hotel is on several floors. The attached restaurant is of a good standard and has a terrace overlooking the sea which makes dinner particularly nice.
The lady at reception also chews a little Italian, which is always welcome to simplify communication.
Breakfast is good and the price of the room in low season is particularly attractive. What else to say but recommend it?

a spacious apartment with a large terrace with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea

We stayed at Hotel Lucija from June 6 to 8, 2025, in the charming coastal village of Posedarje, just 26 km (about 30 minutes) from Zadar, as part of our road trip in Croatia. We occupied a spacious apartment with a large terrace with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea, offering direct access to the hotel’s private beach: a real privilege to fully enjoy the sunrises and sunsets.
The dining setting is particularly pleasant, a flower terrace with panoramic sea views, ideal for enjoying meals in a calm and rejuvenating environment. On the other hand, the breakfast, although served in this nice setting, was not quite up to our expectations, especially regarding drinks, and we finally preferred to bring our own orange juice to fully enjoy the moment.
The hotel’s location is perfect for those who want to combine relaxation by the sea and cultural discovery. Situated away from the tourist tumult of Zadar, it makes it easy to reach this magnificent historic city, renowned for its medieval centre, its UNESCO-listed ramparts, its unique marine organs and its stunning sunsets. Its location is also ideal for exploring the surroundings: The port of Vinjerac,Nin small medieval town, authentic villages, natural parks, small coves with crystal clear waters and tasty local gastronomy.
We will keep a very good memory of this stay: the calm and beauty of the place, the splendid view from our terrace, direct access to the beach and proximity to Zadar and its area. An address to recommend to those looking for a peaceful break while remaining close to the must-see sites of Northern Dalmatia.
