Good spot for an overnight stay

We stayed here on the first night of a walking holiday. Nela let us in and served local spirit and some water on the terrace overlooking the hills. One room had a private bathroom and the other room had a shared bathroom. No air con but there was a fan and a fridge in the room. Breakfast was lovely and again served on the terrace which was a great start to the day.

Kamer gemiddeld, matige service.

De mevrouw sprak alleen Kroatisch en wees ons onze ruime kamer (13 m2 net ruim genoeg om de koffers neer te leggen), met in de gang onze eigen badkamer van ruim 3,5 m2, met een badkuip, waar ook haar wasmachine in staat. Op de kamer een tafel met koffie en thee en waterkoker. Op het einde van het gangetje een balkonnetje met eettafel en breed uitzicht over de heuvel erachter en het landschap. In de badkamer heb ik de douchekop met twee tie-wraps aan de boiler vastgemaakt zodat je er onder kont douchen (op je knieën).
Toen we na het museum terug naar het hotel kwamen, was de eigenaresse erg gestressed – snel, snel, de konoba voor het diner gaat nu dicht om 20:00 uur. Maar de konoba Hmska eigenaar het geen probleem om ons te serveren en iets later openblijven. Halverwege onze maaltijd kwam twee andere gasten te eten.
Om 08:00 uur werd er op onze kamerdeur geklopt – ontbijt staat klaar op het balkon.
Snel aangekleed en daar naartoe gegaan. Er is maar een woord voor het ontbijt – bah! De ergste in de hele vakantie in Kroatië – geen keuze. Er was meer wilde asperges in het roerei dan eieren en die smaakte vies. Niet te eten. Kaas, parmaham en dike droge brood. Met de jam/boter, niks mis. Zonder te vragen werd kamillethee geserveerd. Met ons eigen theezakje, hebben we wel konden zwarte theedrinken.
Wij wilden nog een ansichtkaart in Glagoljica taal naar familie sturen en begon die te schrijven. Toen zei de eigenares van de B&B dat de taxi al hier was (09:00 uur) en we moesten weg. Er was ons niets gevraagd.
