Nice place to stay

I spent 4 nights during August and it was very good. The staff is really nice and the owner Mr. VONKO is almost always available to help the clients. Well located and perfect for families and couples. Very close to the beach. I totally recommend this hotel.

Villa Astra & Pinija (managed by Villa Petra owner)

Note: I am reviewing Villa Astra & Pinija, which are managed by the same owner as Villa Petra and restaurant Burin. It is situated at Brela-Jakiruša.
Both buildings are located in a few steps from Villa Petra and restaurant Burin.
We (a family with 2 kids) stayed 2 weeks at Pinija building: P2 apartment with 1 bedroom (double bed), huge living room with dining table and double bed, small kitchen ang a huge terrace (no sea view though).
I booked it in Feb, my emailing with Zvonko (who owns Petra/Burin and manages Astra/Pinija) was smooth (I also transferred pre-payment).
Overall we are satisfied by staying there, a few remarks:
- Appartment is rather simple, but well maintained (and big! there is other options of course), cleaned daily (towels/bed linen are changed 2-3 times a week).
- Zvonko and his family/team are friendly and ready to help (we had as gratis a baby cot and microwave).
- Burin restaurant which is in a few steps offers a good quality food, daily lunch menu (40 kn), so we everyday took ready dishes to the room and enjoyed meals at our terrace.
- it is 1-hour drive from Split airport.
- once we did a big shopping in a Konzum Maxi in Makarska, the rest - Studenac, a far entry to B. Voda.
- bring own pan if you plan to cook, the rest of kitchenware is ok.
- expect a steep road back to villa from the beach, but it is short (30-40 metres).
- plenty of places to visit if have own wheels: grand Split, Trogir and Šibenik, marvelous Krka National Park, lively Omiš and Makarska. And of course Brela-Soline and Baška Voda.
Brela, a pearl of Makarska Riviera.
The place where Biokovo mountains jump into the deep Adriatic, pines fulfil the air by its vivid flavour, you have numerous coves to swim, and if you are devoted runner - then nothing compares with the most picturesque coastal 5-km path which connects Brela's ends: Brela-Soline and Brela-Jakiruša.

in love with the place

It is important to take the time to thank the owner (Zvonko) of the Burin restaurant and Villa Petra apartments (it is one place), as well as their personnel for the hospitality, good sense of humor and help. Burino is one of the best restaurant in Brela. Important combination of high quality and good prices. As most of Croatian people the Burino’s owner and personnel are helpful, tactful, friendly and love their job – what make people feel like at home, relax and enjoy the beauty of the sea, fall in love with the place and the land, and come back to them, as result. This is a fact.

Toller spontaner Aufenthalt
