The boss is very nice and everything is fine. It's just that you have to climb up a hill, so it's hard for the takeaway to arrive. Otherwise, there's no problem. There's also a ramp for luggage.

This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a cheap and quiet place to rest. The room was really good and spacious, the environment was also very clean. The shower room had hot water with good pressure and there was a water heater and a hair dryer available. The room view was also amazing. I was very happy with my stay in this hotel. The hotel id indeed close to the south entrance of the park so there are restaurants and shops nearby. The only problem is that you have to go up and down stairs to get to the hotel and at the end of the day when you're super tired that can be a pain but I just thought of it as extra exercise. They added a "ramp" for you to be able to roll your suitcase which was ok. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Zhangjiajie again.

A lovely place to stay, with gorgeous views of Zhangjiajie. The staff were super helpful and always around. Big spacious rooms, clean bathrooms with nice, hot showers. The wifi was really good and worked well. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie Forest Park, the South entrance is less than 1km away.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Yes, you have to find the entrance to the path and then hike up the hill for a few minutes, but then you get a view of the mountains directly from the hotel (the pictures are from the balcony of the room I had).
The owner is very nice and you can connect on WeChat under the hotel’s number for any questions (especially if you don’t speak Chinese, like me).
The room was nice, clean, and well equipped. And the small towel thing seems to be the same in other hotels. It was not an issue for me.

This place is absolutely amazing. The facilies are basic but fully functional. If you get a room facing the valley you get amazing view from your room. It's situated only 10 minutes walk from the Southern Gate to Wulingyuan Scenic Area – the forest park entrance. The owner Zhanggongfu is super nice and really helpful and knows the park and the town well. The hotel is placed up in a small valley surrounded by small household gardens and you can see the mountains of the park. The small town below is not as developed as the area around the Eastern gate, so if you want a quieter place this is it. It's easy to get to the Eastern Gate by bus. There's also a bus going to the railway stations in Zhangjiajie, the big town. I highly recommend this place.
