Excellent address

Excellent address. Great location next to Wuhou Park, and very close to metro 3 stop gaoshen. Very clean, very friendly staff, very competitive price, very quiet.

Chengdu is one of my favorite cities in China , the tea culture and other cultural opportunities , parks and a great transport system .
I have also stayed at Holly’s previously many years ago .. the staff are always very helpful as my language skills are not good . Many staff speak English well and those who may not be fluent in English still are very helpful.
There is a metro relatively close by and also staff helped me get a didi to the south railway station where i could catch the line 18 metro airport express to Tianfu International airport ( 24 hour service ) for 10rmb for about a 45 min ride such a bargain !
The rooms for price are also good , quiet , good aircon , functional , laundry facilties , breakfast and the location really is great across from a beautiful traditional park that also has a temple and at night a great food market ..
the area of Wouhouci is also an interesting diverse area with incredible shops and many eating local eating places and its easy to get into the city centre by walking or transport

Great budget place to stay

The hostel is in a great location, very close to Jinli Street, which is open until late and you can buy lots of souvenirs and enjoy street food, and the Wuhou Temple.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped arrange airport transfers for us.
I had a private room, which was en suite with wifi & a kettle. It was tricky to get the shower temperature right, but was good when you succeeded. There's no lift, but the staff helped with suitcases. The breakfast was limited, but tasted good.
Although the room & breakfast were basic, this is a hostel not a hotel, and so the 4 stars reflect the fact that it was much better than I was expecting.

Stayed 3 nights with overall satisfaction

I stayed for my first night in this hotel when reached Chengdu and continued staying for another 2 nights after returning from Tibet before leaving Chengdu.
What I like about this hotel:
Affordable with free simple Chinese breakfast.
Strategic location near Jinli Street and Metro within 10 min walking
Many restaurant nearby.
Polite and helpful staff that I could rely on because my document was delivered safely by the hotel before my arrival for check in. The receptionist also guided us to use AliPay app.
Slipper, kettle, free drinking water, black tea sachet are provided.
Some improvement to be made:
No lift service. Have to carry your own luggage up to 1st floor.
Toilet door was not able to be locked entirely.
No coffee sachet provided in the room as it is common in China hotels
