For no reason

Very rundown hotel. Maintenance is missing. Dirty pieces and corridors with broken artifacts. Very poor breakfast. I do not recommend it even for the location.

He doesn't have a star. Too bad.

Disgusting, unfortunately we arrived too tired, to change But the stars gave them to him. The bathroom full of mushrooms. We couldn't shower. I don't know if the towels were ever white. And to say, the carpet in the bedroom.

Good for few nights

The room was comfortable, with two beds, but the bathroom is very small, the building is old and does not help at all with the good organization of the bathroom (the tub was large and with a lot of wasted space).
Cleanliness was good, breakfast was buffet, simple, but varied.
We were only there one night, so the narrowness of the bathroom didn't bother us.
The best thing is that it is right in the center, with parking.
The price quality ratio was good.

nice staff, clean room, fine breakfast, air quality problems

I stayed in the hotel's very smallest room, "Simple B," which means it had a single bed (not a twin, mind you, a single, which is very narrow), a tiny TV, a little desk, and that's it. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. I had no problem at all with the wireless in the room. The room was surprisingly quiet, given that the hotel was apparently full.
The hotel is just two blocks from the Plaza in one direction and from a mall in the other. There is also a supermarket nearby.
I'd be happy to never come back here. The hotel had an overpoweringly sweet smell, alternating with smoke. I am guessing there's some smallscale manufacturer nearby--maybe of candles? In any case, I did not like breathing it and worried that it was not safe.

Simple and clean hotel

I am currently staying at Hotel Alonso de Ercilla for 1 week. The entrance of the hotel and the hallways look a bit old and stinky (ugly brown carpet), but the rooms are actually nice, with wooden floors, and quiet. Bathroom is fine too, and breakfast is average. There is free wireless in all rooms, but if you don't have a laptop, internet access is possible for a small fee. A comfortable hotel, well located close to the center of Concepcion, but nothing special.
