Great Hotel Near Water

I had a short but great stay at this hotel.
I booked fairly last minute via Amex FHR and found this hotel to be significantly less expensive than other FHR options in Vancouver. I received the usual FHR amenities including a significant room upgrade. I have noticed some mediocre reviews, but suspect these are from guests who were in older rooms. According to a hotel employee I spoke with, all rooms are being renovated, starting from the top floors and moving downwards. My room on floor 22 was very nice. Kudos for keeping standard lighting controls and not installing confusing touch panels that make controlling basic room features confusing.
The hotel is in a good location near the water and Canada Place, but not far from shopping and restaurants. The common areas were pleasant and welcoming. The food I had via room service was top notch. I only stayed one night so didn’t interact with that many employees, but those who I did were friendly and attentive.
I would stay here again without hesitation.

A decent place to stay although a VERY busy location due to the cruise ships. Lots of families with small screaming children. For my husband and I I would probably select a quieter hotel because we didn’t need to be close to waterfront. Enjoyed the bikes around Stanley park but go early as it gets busy after 10. The ARC bar was quite nice but again you can hear unruly children throughout the day.

Amazing hotel and staff

Had an amazing few days at the Fairmont Waterfront. It’s ideally situated to explore Vancouver. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely go back there.

Enjoyable stay ! Will return.

Thank you to the Fairmont Gold staff for a great stay! It was for our Daughter’s 7th birthday. A card and birthday cupcake greeted her upon our arrival ! What a great personal touch!
The room was well kept and very clean. The staff were very attentive and professional.
We look forward to our next stay at the Fairmont Waterfront.

BEATS the Pan Pacific HANDS DOWN!

We stayed here 1 night prior to a Rocky Mountaineer trip. BEST bed, best view, best lounge, best food, best staff, best EVERYTHING! Upgraded to Gold a couple of days before. The following morning, we had to transfer to the Pan Pacific, on their Pacific Club level as part of the RM package. If given the choice we would have stayed at the Waterfront! Don't fall for the hype of the Pan Pacific-Fairmont is the way to go! Loved it so much, we already booked 2 nights there after our Alaska cruise next June!
