fix the elevators

The apartment was quite nice. The view of the CN tower and downtown was spectacular. The elevators almost ruined our trip. Each time we needed to leave or enter the apartment it was at least a 20min wait to catch an elevator. There were plenty of elevators in the tower but only one working for the upper floors and one for the lower. It was a weekend, so the tower was quite busy. People were angry about the wait, so they pushed the up and down buttons hoping to get the elevator to stop. It was full most of the time as well as stopping on every floor. I would have walked had it not been 44 floors. Management needs to get a handle on this problem. I would not stay there again without an assurance that ALL of the elevators were functioning.

Cancelled my reservation last minute, side deal offered.

As per the other two reviews earlier today, I also had my reservation cancelled last minute. They got in touch 12 hours later saying booking.com cancelled it on their end. Doesn't really matter in the end. As the other reviewers, had to find a different accommodation less than 24hs from my stay there.
They got in touch via whatsapp, but didn't know who I was, and asked if I could reply. When I asked them what's up, they asked me why I was contacting them?

Late cancelation without a reason, awaiting refund.

Perhaps the location is fabulous. I'll never know. Thelifesuites.com unilaterally canceled my booking today. I reserved in February of 2026, and the reservation is in less than a month. I had to scramble to get new accommodation. No reason for the cancelation was given. My card has already been charged. Awaiting refund.

UNRELIABLE, CANCELLED MY BOOKING LAST MINUTE!

I just got a notice at 4:56 am today that my booking was cancelled less than 24hrs before leave for a 4 h trip to Toronto tomorrow morning . No explanation was given. I booked this apartment over a month ago to ensure I had a place to stay close to my meeting place. I had to find another accommodation. I needed an apartment, now all I could find was just a room, further way and more money. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY ARE UNRELIABLE TO SAY THE LEAST!

Do not book this “hotel”!

Please do not book this “hotel” (that is not a hotel at all)!!! Do not be fooled.
The main issue is that of 6 elevators, one is working for all 50 stories - the man on the front desk just says “be patient” when he hands over your keys. We waited over half an hour to get up - and it was such a terrible experience (we couldn’t wait that long each time going up and down all weekend!) so we checked out right away. After walking down 32 flights of stairs with all of our baggage.
