Awesome place to stay. Quiet, clean, and excellent meals in the Bistro. A short walk to downtown. We will be back!

The room was clean, spacious and seemed to be recently updated. The complimentary breakfast was very good. We very much enjoyed our stay.

One of the issues my daughter and I would like to highlight is the breakfast. We would have preferred a cereal or other grain. The fruit option was rather limited and maybe a few berries could have been included. We would not have any objections to paying more for an optional meal aside from what is already offered.

It is a beautiful property and the rooms are clean and modern. Right in the beautiful downtown area. Free breakfast also included and wifi that does not make you pay more which is becoming rare. Staff was super nice. Especially the lady at the front desk. Couple things to note it could not be the easiest hotel for wheelchair access. No near door parking. There is a elevator but I believe access to the history is bt stairs only . I noced ac ducts but no control for the AC and the refrigerator was hidden in the night stand.

This hotel was fine for two nights but I have qualms about recommending it. The location is in the east end of St John’s and it’s a good 20-minute, not terribly pleasant walk to downtown. It’s be okay if you have a car. The beds need replacing; the mattresses are very soft, the bed frames squeak loudly and the pillows aren’t comfy. The breakfast was pretty good and our server was pleasant, as was the cleaning staff. The woman at the front desk when we arrived was welcoming but the night staff seemed like they would rather be somewhere else. There’s no concierge, so no one to get info from. Overall, it was just okay.
