Serenity & Scenery!

Jean and Dick were waiting for us with a warm smile and greeting upon our arrival. Our room was beautiful and the view of the inlet from the deck was spectacular. The room had everything we could possibly need, like a home away from home. Jean and Dick were lovely hosts and so hospitable and engaging, they felt like family. The breakfasts were delicious each morning and plenty to eat. My particular favourite were the homemade lemon and blueberry scones with homemade jam. Everything was homemade and scrumptious. Thank you for making our 10th anniversary stay so memorable!

Never Again!!!!!!

Absolutely the filthiest room I have ever experienced! Filth on the shower liner, no curtain, spiders in the closet, fire hazard, lamp on wall was was barely hanging by a faulty wire. Disgusting tub!!! This hotel desperately needs to be updated for the prices they are demanding. House cleaning didn't even swap out our dirty coffee cups. I showered in my flip flops. I removed the blanket and slept with only a sheet. This place isn't worth $60 a nite. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else, anywhere else!!!!!

Incredible view!

We were fortunate to get a last minute booking at sechelt inlet B n B. I booked based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Jean and Dick are warm and hospitable without being intrusive and their pride of ownership shows. Our group booked all three suites and they were immaculate and included lots of thoughtful touches. When Jean learned we were cycling in to her on a Friday evening, she offered to pick up some dinner supplies which enabled us to enjoy both the sunset and the hockey game in the comfort of our suites. The hot tub was welcome after our days of cycling and Jean catered beautifully to those in our group who had gluten allergies. The view from the suites was absolutely spectacular and well worth the hill climb to reach them. I would book again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Honeymoon

We celebrated our honeymoon and ended our trip to the Sunshine Coast at Dick and Jean’s and were blown away by their hospitality which is second to none! They graciously welcomed us and surprised us with a lovely card, a bottle of chilled sparkling wine and Lindt chocolates in our room. Jean has scrumptious fresh baked cookies in the common area which my husband loved! The first morning we needed to head out early for a boat tour and sweet Jean packed us the most lovely picnic breakfast. Croissants, ham, cheese, fresh baked muffins, yogurt and fresh berries complete with a thoughtful note on the bag! Breakfasts here are outstanding. Jean makes a beautiful 3 course breakfast and Dick makes the best coffee on the Sunshine Coast!! All with gorgeous views of the inlet!! Jean makes her own jams and condiments...we LOVE her homemade hot sauce! The rooms are clean and cozy with stunning views and decks overlooking the inlet. We even had a chance to enjoy the hot tub with a view too! Overall outstanding hospitality and a perfect home base for adventures on the Sunshine Coast. We can’t wait to come back and we will return soon!!

Relaxing Vacation Spot!

This was our third stay at this B&B - what an absolutely charming place this is: quiet, clean, cosy...everything we could possibly need!
The rooms are warm and spacious with individual ocean-facing patios perfect for reading and wine-sipping. The hot tub overlooks the inlet and although we didn’t see whales THIS time, we did see a pod last visit!
Breakfast is completely outstanding: Dick and Jean cater to any and every need. Feels like fine dining first thing in the morning! Jean makes most everything herself: jams, jellies, citrus butters, breads, muffins, pastries....a seasonally rotating feast!
Hospitable, inviting and taking a genuine interest in their guests, Dick and Jean will not disappoint!
I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a getaway: friends, couples & families too.
Thanks Dick and Jean!
