A hidden treasure of relaxation
Great experience and very very satisfied. It is a wonderful place to decompress and relax. A little old-fashioned but still very charming. The employees are helpful and very kind. Pool and room clean. Thanks again for this beautiful stay!!! There are many vacant rooms but that is precisely perfect for having peace and enjoying the view of the river.

Where to start to tell you about our horrible experience!
Upon our arrival we were informed of a hidden fee ($150 total $30 per dog + we have to change rooms) NOT mentioned during the reservation due to the presence of a dog.
Dog prohibited in the main building
But their dog walks around there freely
Surprise upon returning to the car their large dog standing on my vehicle scratching it of course, witness to the scene they did not want to take responsibility for this matter
Once in the room (superior without A/C)
We decided to leave the premises due to discomfort and unsanitary conditions
They never wanted to refund me.
They even called the police to settle the dispute.
My partner went to the pool restroom...

Dogs were supposedly banned from the main building... ...yet *their* dog roamed freely inside. To our surprise, when we returned to the car, their large dog was standing on my vehicle—scratching the paint, of course. Even though they witnessed the incident, they refused to take responsibility for it. Once inside the room (a "Superior" room without A/C)... ...we decided to leave due to the uncomfortable and unsanitary conditions. They flatly refused to issue a refund. Outdated and faded - avoid at all costs!!!
The inn is frozen in time but everything is abandoned. Its past splendor is nothing more than a dusty and dirty memory. Sad, very sad. So move along, it is not worth the price. We saw "the luxury suite," a real joke; do not pay for that. I gave it one star and that is for the river and its beauty, not for the inn. Oh, and the owner's dogs are running loose. One jumped on the reception counter when we arrived!!! There are indeed two Keurig coffee pods (Costco coffee) in the room, but you have to pay for more if you stay for several days ($1.50 per pod). No room cleaning if you stay for several days. No air conditioning. Cold and dirty swimming pools.
Rooms
Very outdated; at first glance it is clean, but you shouldn't look too closely! Leaking faucets. Dirty fingerprints on the doors. You have to open our room door with a kick or a shove because it sticks. Once inside, we couldn't get it open again. Luckily we also had a patio door so we could get out that way! Otherwise we would have been stuck in the room on the pool side. And no phone in the room to ask the front desk for help! Very, very hard beds! River view from the "terrace". The view remains magnificent.

Non-existent, very, very dark. We used our cell phones to find the way to our room.

No restaurant/dining room (closed in the middle of July). A microwave at the front desk and sale of ramen soups at the front desk. No vending machine (only one at the pool, at the bottom of the hill, but empty).
Site abandoned.

Rooms were ok,the exterior is deteriorated really not handled properly. For a 2 night stay they give you 3 coffee cup only otherwise you have to pay, if you want AC they charged me 150$ ( super not honnest people ) its really cold AT night and I didnt need IT but i still had to pay the extra . The pool is across the street so you either take your car or you go down about 100 Stairs .
I Will Never go back There and I Do not recommand this place. Even people from the village said they are not honnest people( New owners) ever since the past owner sold IT.

The room was clean, the wifi was terrible, but the worst was the temperature : there was no ac, windows barely opened and if we had wanted them closed, it wouldn’t have been possible because they were broken (the plastic part). The curtains didn’t keep the sun out completly, so it got really, really hot. At least there was a fan.
