Decent hotel in the area. There's outdoor pool, hot tub, recreation room and also free EV charging which are very good. We enjoyed the stay.

Clean and nice room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The downside is the area. We smelt weed multiple times and the property is smoke free. There was a drunk person causing a commotion. We looked out our balcony and saw a random guy l

Not worth the hype

This is our second visit at this hotel. We weren’t here long enough to use the amenities last fall, so we specifically booked this hotel again for our two young children to enjoy the pool. We did book through Expedia, which listed the seasonal pool open from June to September. Today is June 12 and the pool is bone dry. We were told it doesn’t open until the end of June, and while Expedia offered some minor compensation, the hotel refused to offer any sort of refund or hotel credit despite the misleading information online. None of the staff were particularly helpful nor compassionate towards our situation.
While the room was clean and comfortable enough, the bathtub did not hold water which made bathing two young children extremely difficult.
The playground area is nice for older children. The ‘games room’ is laughable.
We hope to make the Granby Zoo an annual family trip, but we will not be returning to this hotel again.

Regarding the pool, its opening is dependent on weather conditions and seasonal operational requirements, which may result in an opening date later than originally anticipated.
As for the bathtub, we will have our maintenance team inspect it to verify its condition.

Average room in a well-equipped hotel.

Decent room with somewhat outdated furniture.
Pros:
- Well-located hotel
- On-site restaurants
- Well-equipped hotel
Cons:
- Poorly placed television in the room
- Insufficient counter space in the bathroom
- No nightstand on both sides of the bed
