Loved it

This place was magnificent! You will feel the connection with the nature. The room are typically. Yes there is no running water but why do you want running water in the jungle? The staff are available 24 hours they will always bring you water. We had dinner on the balcony under the stars that place is beautiful. Of course you won't have internet who need internet in the jungle going there will help you connect with the nature listening the sound of the birds.... the experience is worthy

Avoid this rathole

Avoid this rathole.
Advanced state of decay.
Dishonest manager/proprietor.

On the phone they give you the impression that they're fully booked. Just a ploy. I asked for their most expensive package, paid in advance. Got disappointed after one hour and left. No excuses or refund. Pure malice

Eco lodge in the heart of the forest

The project is a great concept and I appreciate how much effort has gone into it. The bungalows look stunning and the setting is superb.
The activities too, such as the chocolate making and forest ealks are excellent, as are the opportunities to experience real life for many villagers in Cameroon.
Food was excellent as well.
To be negative : the beds have to be the most uncomfortable I have wver slept on...please invest in matresses which do not force your back onto the wooden slats. Also...would it not be possible to provide running water to the rooms? Whilst I appreciate it might all be a part of the eco plan, it would be a huge benefit, especially for your overseas visitors.
I did enjoy my stay, despite my bad back as a result of it. You do have a very special lodge.

Nice place to stay

We stayed at Oveng Lodge for 1 night. The place itself is really lovely and the staff tries to satisfy you. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The only thing what is missing is running water. And maybe they should try to have more different food and drinks available.

trip with friends

the place is relaxing but lack internet connexion and telephone, so if you want to be out of phones and internet then you can go there. They lack assets in their bathroom.And service is not of quality
