Great value for money, and a nice time spent in Kampot.

Spent 2 nights in a standard double room at Orchid 101 in Kampot. Great value for money, friendly and helpful staff, and a vibe which was easy and relaxed and made for easy conversations with other travellers. My room was large and clean, good A/C and internet, and when I discovered my kettle didn‘t work, a new replacement was organised that day. Bathroom was a bit tight with the shower next to the toilet, consistent with the price paid. Lots of local tips and even organised activities for those interested. Really enjoyed my time here, the slower pace of Kampot compared to PP and Vietnam cities, and only left due to the late August rainy season..

Kampot's finest guesthouse and hosts!

What a fantastic stay! I can fully, and whole heartedly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for somewhere to stay
Pat, Brendan, & Melissa were amazing! Nothing felt like too much trouble, whether it was a laundry run, or a recommendation for somewhere to go and eat - they really know the area and want the best for their guests.
The rooms were spacious, cosy, and very clean, and the social spaces a great place to hangout!
I stayed for a relatively long stay and it really felt like a home. The three hosts were funny, warm, and so endearing. During my stay they helped organise excursions, booked tuktuks, and organised social events within the guesthouse. Everything was over and above, and my perspective on what I expect of guesthouses and hostels has been forever altered. The bar has truly been raised!
Should I visit Kampot again, I know exactly where I'm staying, and there really is no competition.

They exceeded my expectations!

As I get older I tend to want more Comfort when I travel. As this was listed as a guest house I had second thoughts. I'm very happy that I did not listen to myself. The family that operate this place are very nice with their daughter Bella being the big boss. The rooms were clean clean. It had everything I needed and look for in a room refrigerator flat screen TV high-speed internet water kettle and good air conditioning. I stayed five nights and it felt like I was at home I couldn't recommend this guest house enough. They will arrange onward bus transportation for you rent you a bicycle or a motor scooter. Should I make it back this is definitely where I'll be staying again thank you!

One of those precious finds!

Most comfortable abode in Cambodia ... this is, of course, a personal opinion. The hosts Eugene and Lestey, along with their boss, Bella (baby) and their friendly staff will greet you with kindness, care and good advice.
This is a wonderful find for any traveller and one where travellers can find friends. It's walking distance from a Lucky supermarket (5 minutes) and also to the centre of town (10 minutes) and is one of the best places I've stayed at in 11 years of travelling in Southeast Asia. It will stay in my memory as THE place to go when I return to Cambodia

Very happy to come back immediately

Everything was great, clean, personal, they even bought us muesli for breakfast, highly recommended, good tips and we were able to get a really recommendable day trip including a pepper plantation to the Bo Tree Farm here. We'll be back again soon
