Poseidon hotel Golden Sands - very good
The owner (Anton) and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and quiet. The hotel has a bar and restaurant - the food is lovely and the menu has a good selection of different food to eat. The drinks are cheap with different types of whiskey etc to try.
You have a 15 minute walk down to the beach. Golden Sands is a great resort with plenty of places to eat and drink.
My room is very nice - great value for money. It`s clean and the WiFi is excellent. The hotel is quiet at night and this ensures you can get a good nights sleep.
As for one poster on here that said the room had human waste in it - what a load of rubbish. The hotel is spotless and very clean. As a Destination Expert for Bulgaria on Trip Advisor I have stayed in many hotels in the country - some good and some bad. However I will give the Poseidon 10 out of 10.
I look forward to returning and I will certainly recommend the place to family and friends.

Pure hospitality
We were here in September, so it was not high-season anymore but it was a great stay.
As the cook was already in holiday, the owner cooked for us himself, what was really nice.
He was helpful and explained everything about the city.
Also, the hotel itself was nice, had a good pool and was clean and everything.
