So good we’ve booked again!

A lovely little hotel, enjoyed the experience and hospitality so much that we’re going back shortly. People say the pool is a little small but we weren’t bothered as we didn’t use it!! Rooms serviced almost every day by sweet ladies, but we didn’t need it on a couple of days as we preferred a lie-in. Everything you need for self-catering, but would benefit from a microwave. Air-con was free, not sure if that changes in high season though, and a safe in the room was £30, not cheap but worth for peace of mind (not that I ever felt at risk from staff or outsiders, especially on the 4th floor!!) Meals are available in a nice little area at the hotel. Plenty of cheap eating places nearby too, as the hotel is away from “the strip” in a more residential area, but still walking distance to the beach etc. if that’s more your scene.

Lovely Hotel, Hotel Step Sunny Beach

Have just got back from a month Holiday in Sunny Beach Bulgaria, we stayed at the Hotel Step, and have to say what an amazing little hotel, it is a family run hotel the owners Diana and her Husband George are such lovely people they and there staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The hotel is basic but it really is spotlessly clean the beds were changed every 3 to 4 days we got toilet roll replaced daily if needed and clean towels regularly, with daily bins emptied. The food at the hotel is excellent and on occasions better than some of the good restaurants and at very reasonable prices. If we come back to Sunny beach I would definitely use this hotel and recommend it. Thank you for making our stay a great experience.

A fabulous find

A wonderful clean and comfortable hotel, with exceptional staff. They really can not do enough and always with a smile. George goes above and beyond to help you. Would certainly recommend.

Birthday experience

Well our 5th visit to hotel Step is complete, we were there for a 50th birthday. This hotel went above and beyond for us during our stay. Allocated the biggest studio, free drinks and chocolates on arrival. Organised banners, balloons and flowers (paid for by me), decorated the room while we were out eating on the eve of her birthday. We don't do champagne but they sourced Martini Asti (birthday girls favourite) for birthday breakfast. Bottle of wine and chocolates as a gift from them.
Stefan and the whole team should be proud of their efforts, myself and birthday girl really appreciate the efforts the team put in.
Unfortunately we can't go back next year due to circumstances but we will hopefully be back in 2027.
If your looking for a hotel that has staff that will go the extra mile look no further.

Lovely family run hotel

Hotel step. Well nothing to complain about.
Rooms clean and tidy. Staff helpfully. Food at the bistro very nice. 1 downside pool small. We was in room 509 which was a 2 bedroom apartment, spacious and well equipped for self-catering. If you would a lovely peaceful holiday i would defo recommend.
