Price performance is absolutely okay!

I used the upgrade on the day of arrival for 14 euros per day, and as a result, I received a room on the top floor with air conditioning and a balcony. For 3 stars, it is absolutely fine. I have had 4-star hotel rooms that were not nearly as good. I did not book breakfast due to other reviews, but 50 meters to the left around the corner is a great Italian bakery with very delicious baked goods and great cappuccino! It is right in the center and not far from the train (good connection to the airport).
Clear recommendation!

It was an older hotel but well maintained and located in an excellent area with plenty of shops and cafes. I would most definitely stay here again if I ever came back to Sophia.

Noisy club in the basement rumbling until 5am Friday and Saturday - 6/10

Great location in the centre with metro and some sites of interest on your doorstep. One warning is that they have a nightclub called FOMO in the basement. If you are there Friday and Saturday the club will be in full flow and very noisy. We were on the 2nd floor and it wasn't high enough to avoid the noise disturbance from 10pm-5am. If you want a club to go to and a bed to crawl into after, I'm sure this would be perfect but we had other things to do and could've done with a quieter night. Breakfast was €10 per person, we found we could get better breakfast out and about for similar price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower/bathroom and room in general were of decent standard. I'd give this hotel a 6/10 due to the noise mostly.

Love it literally the location - will never ever live so central. This hotel is the central!

We didn’t see the rooms shown on the hotels photo library. The rooms we stayed in (3 guests) were old, decrepit and not reflective of what we thought we were paying for. The bathrooms were horrendous, the curtains were a game of perfect lining up to stop the sun coming in and their were splats of blood on the walls in multiple rooms.
