Memorable couple of nights whilst visiting Sofia.

Excellent all round hotel , superb location walkable to slopes, ski hire & coffee shops on Vitosha Massif. Fantastic rooms, great restaurant and spa facilities. This place is a must stay for us if we are ever visiting the Sofia area. Breakfasts are good and varied too.

Total joke of a hotel

So let me set out the facts and the facts only. We checked into the hotel and stated to the receptionist we will be checking out at 07.30. No card asked for a copy or whatever. We had a few drinks in the bar and they wanted to put it on one our room. Same when we had a meal each. Total bill 113 euros. Checked out 07.30 next morning as promised and no one on reception to pay our bar and restaurant bill to. I had a flight to Athens to catch and a taxi driver waiting for us. We waited 25 minutes and still nobody not even breakfast staff till we couldn't wait any longer. Arrived at airport just 15 minutes before check in closed. I was really stressed and wrongly ignored their calls and blocked them. Bad on my part. First message was fairly polite and sent me weird bank numbers which I did.n't understand. Never sent money abroad.
I suggested I pay via booking.com but the next message was that I'm refusing to pay which was rubbish. Further messages just got ruder till they actually said you're an embarrassment to the crown (UK). Now if you want to insult me in that way then forgive me for the fact of not making an effort when it was the hotel's own fault in tha frst place. This could be easily resolved by them simply admitting their mistakes and being polite
They'd have had their money by now. probably through booking.com Instead they reported me to booking.com and I'm barred from booking.com without being notified or chance of response so no chance of getting their money back. No biggy much prefer Hotels com albeit slightly less hotels. They even threatened to contact the British Embassy. Well good luck as I'm not a British citizen. One final suggestion. Don't get guests to pay for a more expensive lamb dinner and then serve them cheaper beef because you think they're too stupid to notice. And good luck with the anger management. And no we didn't do s runner to escape our bill and you will no doubt try to frame it like that. PS . Hope you never have a fire or other emergency at night with no staff in the premises.

The hotel is great, but there's a downside that needs to be addressed.

The location is great, the apartments are hot, the view is chic, but with rooms have questions, lived in apartment 303A, in the room where the child was supposed to sleep, there is a sofa, but it is terribly not comfortable, had to put the child to sleep in the bedroom and himself with his wife on a wooden sofa. The sofa is three parts, the first and last wooden and in the middle is soft. I put the blanket on the hard part, but it didn't help, there are photos. Sleeping in two nights was practically impossible, and constant noise of water or something incomprehensible in the guest room. To better understand me, I recommend that the hotel manager or director try sleeping on the sofa for one night, feel like a guest, to understand my remark. In a hotel of this level you could put a comfortable sofa, or in case of extreme an additional mattress 6-8cm bedded on the sofa.
I recommend to think about expanding the spa, make a swimming pool, because if there are 10-12 people in the spa at the same time it is already tight and not comfortable. And in general, the hotel is chic, the lobby is very cozy warm home atmosphere, the kitchen is delicious and not expensive, the waiter is a man special thanks for creativity in communicating with the child! It's a fancy morning dawn.

Great restaurant

At first we were slightly frustrated as the bar staff upstairs has completely ignored us and didn't approach. We left the bar area and went to a restaurant downstairs and it made our day.
There was a friendly gentleman working, with a sense of humour, has been kindly looking after us. We have enjoyed our meals & mountain view and left quite delighted.

In the heart of Vitosha

Warm Inn ideal for a short walk in the Vitosha Massif.
Very convenient and quick access by bus 66 leaving from Sofia is located in front of the Inn. Check-out from the Pension on foot for walks.
Very decent and comfortable room, good bathroom (including bathrobe).
Warm common areas with a rich wood decoration. Beautiful view of the valley. Spa facilities, Jacuzzi etc.
Nice restaurant.
Smiling staff speaking basic English.
