Friendly atmosphere and comfortable stay

Great atmosphere with very friendly hosts and good vibe of guests. Hostel is very clean and offers all amenities for the stay like a kitchen to cook,free tea and coffee,cheap laundry service and support during your stay. I enjoyed a big dorm room with own bed and comfortable mattress.Very good location with walking distance to centre and bus stop with busses to train and bus station.Plovdiv had a very small christmas market but with ice skating place.Hostel made my stay enjoyable.Will come back.

Amazing hostel!

I spend a week in Velin’s hostel and I really enjoyed it. The hostel is clean and relatively small so it’s easy to get to know everyone who stays here. Velin is a very easy going and helpful host. He takes his guests to beautiful places, I would definitely recommend booking a tour with him.
Plovdiv is an amazing city to spend more than just one day! There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops which are only a 10 minutes walk away (Kapana / Old Town).

Great hostel close to the centre of Plovdiv

If you are looking for a well priced hostel close to the centre of Plovdiv, this is the place to stay! Great and friendly host, good location, clean rooms and all facilities to make your stay in beautiful Plovdiv nice and easy.

Bad experience

The place is actually quite far from the centre. The road is noisy. The place is dirty, and the kitchen and bathroom stink. There’s no ventilation in the kitchen or bathroom. The bathroom has a lot of black mould.
I burnt my feet with bleach when the place was washed for the first time in several months - the owner had left bleach all over the bathroom floor.
The place is run by an idiot.

Shall I remind you that you were volunteer in this hostel ,not a guest, so this review is not for here, but for helpx.com.
Shall I remind you that cleanliness of the hostel was your duty , you didnt respect.
Shall I remind you that everyone arount you was crazy and Idiot( according to you)
Shall I say few people left the place because of you.
One advise, be more happy with life, dont be sociopat, dont be angry about the world, then you will be better.

Excellent hostel

I stayed there for many days and everything was perfect. The common kitchen and bathrooms were always clean, there’s a nice and calm terrasse, there’s laundry machine. Furthermore the hostel is really near the center of the city and especially the old town which is very convenient! Finally the owner is incredibly nice, he picked me up at the bus station when I arrived and gave me a lift when I left, he knows many good places to eat and visit.
I really recommend this hostel !
