A good hotel at a good price

Very nice location in Plovdiv, nice decor and the room was very spacious and clean, with a great comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Balcony in my room had quite a nice view.
I only stayed for one night so can't really speak to a longer stay, however - I think if I visit Plovdiv again and the price is similar per night, this would definetely be my first choice of hotel.
Just be warned, it's at the top of a hill so could be a struggle to get to if you're walking.

Neclected, dirty, disappointing

I stayed in this Hotel for two nights in late May 2026 as part of a guided small group tour.
I was really disappointed by this hotel. It felt empty, abandoned and neclected during my stay. The carpet in my room had a lot of stains, so it felt really unclean. The hairdryer was coming apart in the washroom, leaving crumbles on the floor and open wiring touchable. The adverstised "terrace" was locked and abandoned, the "set breakfast" another disappointment.
The location in Plowdiw is quite good, making it an even bigger shame...

Recommendation. No need to spend too much on other hotels

The hotel''s location is exceptionally perfect. If you’re looking to tour Plovdiv, Alexandre 1 is your first stop. Once you walk through the door of this hotel, the Clock Tower is back. Get up with 15-20 stairs, Plovdiv is a sight to explore.
Walk 150-200 meters Try 5-6 Bikixa at El Greco. All amazing.
You’re already at the Friday Mosque. The prime spot to get started in Plovdiv. Too close to getting back when you’re tired.
The staff is helpful and friendly.
Leave the vehicle in the street in front of the Hotel or in the parking garage across the door, no need to remove.
The rooms are clean, spacious and spacious. Linen and towels made a lot of success. There are 5-10 Turkish channels on TV too.
Unlike many hotels, the refrigerator is already working and ready to use.

The hotel is beautiful

It''s just a little hilltop, very close to downtown 500 meters away. It has its own parking lot. The rooms are very clean. The restrooms come with bulbs, free wifi, and very fast. If I return to the city, I would definitely stay here.

Excellent hotel

Great location near the top of one of the famous hills of Plovdiv, this hotel is not fully finished construction as there are still some bits and pieces to finish. However our room was large and clean with a private balcony. Air conditioned room was always a comfortable temperature. The hotel is within walking distance of nearly everything in the city. The views from the roof are incredible. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. When the bar on the roof is completed it will have the best view in the city.
