Good trip

Easy location, close to Praia dos Anjos.. For me who only needed a place to rest, it was peaceful.. Thank you for the welcome! Whenever possible, I'll be back.

Worst experience at Hostel: pick-up touch, lack of respect, arbitrary and absurd rules

Positive points: the house is spacious, pretty, the breakfast is good and is close to the beach of the Angels, has a good bathroom with shower on the ground floor that lives busy since the rest of the room are not good.
Negative points:
1. No access to drinks and food from 22:00 to 11:00
• Reception refrigerator (24h) closed on New Year's Day: Sales refrigerator locked after 22:00, making it impossible to buy water, soft drinks or drinks. However, volunteers drank alcoholic beverages because they knew it would not be open, guests were left with no choice.
• Guest refrigerator inaccessible after 22:00: We are not informed that we do not have access to our own water or food between 22:00 and 11:00 the other day. Everything closes early in town, that's a big problem. In one case, I had to go out to buy cheese because my own was locked up and in another case the volunteer Jo said to stay with a bottle and drink hot water (it was around 9:00 in the morning).
2. Prohibition of use of common areas
• Reception, garden and outdoor area: Twice I was prevented from staying in the reception (even if it was “24 hours”), in the garden and in the outdoor area:
o New Year: I came back at 6:12 in the morning and couldn't stay at the reception.
o Eve of departure: After 22:00, I could not stay at the reception or in the garden. The answer was, “go to the room or to the street.” Remembering that the bed does not allow you to sit.
3. Disrespectful treatment
• I was called “old lady who doesn’t follow rules” (euphemism for “old mess”) for not accepting an inexistent rule. I read the contract in front of the owner and there was no pick-up call at 22:00. He apologized, but after exposing me to volunteer and guests.
4. Day Use with abusive and inconsistent prices
• After check-out at 11:00, I wanted to wait until 16:00 at the reception without using the kitchen/room. They charged R$120 and me and other Nongods, but others paid R$25, R$40, R$70 or R$80.
5. Unstable Internet (high risk in remote work)
• On arrival, there was no internet, being deposited later. Another day, during a conference with my boss, an employee was singing and speaking out loud near me, which did not occur in other days, seeming purposeful.
6. Lack of professionalism and prudence
• The employee was serving a snorkel, I waited to finish and when I asked for a cloth for water splash, I received a rough response from her husband. I don't know if I should have prevented the attention or should have entered the cleaning area without permission.
• My identified tomatoes were put on the floor and still said they had no identification.
7. Incoherent and unwritten rules
• Prohibition of alcoholic beverages, although not contained in the rules. Dono says it makes an “exception.”
• Forbidden plastic bags in the refrigerator (but other guests used them).
8. Precarious structure
• Mixed room: 21 beds for single toilet and no privacy, the place where the pot is super narrow.
• Lower basin without room to sit (I have 1.70m and had to crawl to lie down).
• Insufficient air conditioning.
• Odorless sanitary water cleaning in 9 days.
• Missed water 3 times in 9 days.
It looks like an intern with a touch of collecting and absurd, unwritten rules, applied arbitrarily. I've stayed in more than 15 hostels and never went through it.
I prefer places where:
• I can drink beer in the common area without being a favor.
• I have access to my own water and food.
• I'm treated with respect.

Bad service and cost benefit.

It's just a bad experience. We chose the Hostel for seeing its features and for having breakfast.
But we left at 7am to work and the coffee was only at 8am, when we asked if one of us could stay to take something for the others (we even asked that it was done by the lady herself, thus avoiding them from thinking that we wanted to take a lot of food) and the answer was no! Few baths for the number of guests and 0 respect by some guests.
Another problem was that we received a functional information and then we received the information that was not that. Incredible the disorganization of the administration.
Very bad at all!

Median

I stayed only one day, that is, I had little time to make a more accurate assessment. I stayed in the female dormitory and the air conditioning didn't flow me. The room was bloated and warm. And had the "Karaoke night", I was hoping it would end at 22:00, time that the air conditioners turn on and, theoretically, people who want to sleep will sleep (without air conditioning on the room would get mt hot! Impossible to sleep), but it ended at 23:00 and until then, I couldn't sleep because of the noise.

Noise in rest time...

Room for 5 people with very little lighting, missed the water and the pot clogged 2 times.
Breakfast without mineral water and with little supply.
Noise after 22h constant even after asking for silence.
