Great for long term stays

My wife and I have been staying here for over 3 months and highly recommend it for anyone planning a long term trip or coming here for work
Centrally located, so you can walk to most necessities, and plenty of taxis coming by just outside for if you need to take a trip somewhere farther
The staff and very kind and helpful, and keep the place very clean and tidy. It’s much quieter than the previous place we stayed at in Thimphu, and the room has a full kitchen which is very nice for a long term stay

Long time guest review

I have been staying at Bhutan Suites for 10 years during annual work related trips to Bhutan. The rooms are cozy and clean, the internet works well on all floors, and the location is quiet in the small neighborhood of Changaka about 15-20 minutes walk from downtown Thimphu. The price is very reasonable and stable over many years. There is a small cafe that serves good coffee, baked goods and breakfast/dinner. But the real reason I keep returning is because of the staff, who are so kind and responsive and have become more like friends/family over the years. I would highly consider Bhutan suites for your accommodation in Thimphu!

Expat Experience

She's hosted years of overseas experts who have consulted on hydro projects, health and education programs, music and art, and stayed in these suites for their extended stays. Consequently, you get a large space including kitchen with pots & pans, lounge & dining room, bathroom, bedroom and balcony. And heaters - you won't be cold. I tell you all this so you cut this ole girl some slack when it comes to minor blemishes due to handyman repairs. Run yourself a deep hot bath and imagine you are a part of history!

Very comfortable.

I am long-stayed at work, but the staff are kind and very helpful. The insulation of the building is excellent and I can spend my time comfortably.

Wonderful stay

Great hotel, very clean with modern amenities. Rooms as shown in the pictures. Radhika and the entire staff of Bhutan Suites were very hospitable and made sure I was comfortable during my stay.
