Excellent boutique hotel on the sand

Great "on the sand" hotel in Placencia Belize. The pool bar set up was the best for our group of 8, we lounged all day with yummy cocktails and good bar food! The hotel is quaint & stylish with updated rooms & decor, felt very fresh and clean. We had the Snapper room that had a full kitchen, LR and separate bedroom. We also had massages on the beach right in front of the hotel, the ocean breeze felt so good. The beach water here was not so pristine however which was a sad surprise as we had just ended a charter sailing trip in Belize where the waters were amazing blues, turquoise and so clear. The hotel is walking distance to all the restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops and souvenir shopping. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, thank you for arranging our massages and airport shuttles!

Charming Beach Retreat in the Heart of Placencia

Loved our stay in this quaint, charming hotel in Placencia. The rooms at Ocean Breeze Beach Resort were well appointed, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the property is located within walking distance of the pier and restaurants. Although they do not have a restaurant on site, the bar serves snacks during the day and is a great hang-out spot.

Very nice stay at this beachfront resort

We stayed at Ocean Breeze after a sailboat charter. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, and the beds comfortable. The 3 rooms that we stayed in had kitchens of various sizes that came in handy for self catering. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Marlin, the bartender at the swim up bar was very knowledgeable, accommodating and fun to talk to. The resort is right on the beach and within walking distance of Placencia restaurants, bars, and grocery stores.

Island Vibes at The Ocean Breeze Beach Resort

We returned to Placencia from a 7 day sail around Belize. We checked into The Ocean Breeze resort. They actually had our rooms ready early and allowed us to check in. The resort is very quaint. Right on the beach with a small pool and bar. You can even sit at the bar in the pool. Very cool. Melissa was our bar tender and she was great. Good drinks too! The rooms were very nice. Everything you would need for a stay including a small refrigerator and sitting area. We spent time on the balcony enjoying drinks and listening to the ocean. Nice furniture is provided on the balcony. We felt very safe too. The resort has a night time security gentleman. Roy was friendly. He let us know that if we needed anything to please let him know. Housekeeping staff was awesome. Cleaned our room and actually washed our dishes! How cool is that. Is was so quiet at night there and we slept soundly. The resort is close to restaurants, shopping and the market. easy to walk to being off the main sidewalk. Plenty of options for dinner too. We definitely talked about our return to Belize and will be planning to visit the Ocean Breeze Beach Resort again. The resort is a great value and you wouldn't go wrong by staying there!

Ocean Breeze - stay here!

I had a wonderful stay at Ocean Breeze, it’s an oceanfront hotel! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to the sound of the waves each morning was the perfect way to start the day. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a balcony that offered an amazing view of the beach.
One of my favorite features was the beautiful pool area and pool bar. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a refreshing drink, some good food and take in the ocean atmosphere without ever leaving the property.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and arranged taxis for us when needed. The hotel’s location was excellent—just steps from the sand and close to the “sidewalk”, local restaurants, shops, and attractions. The amenities were great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beachfront getaway. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip!
