a wonderful bed, an original decorated room, a good breakfast with friendly service. What more do you want?

Because we enjoyed our stay so much last time, we booked another night here. Another room - with a beautiful view of the abbey - a different setting but it remains original how all corners are used and decorated with great taste. A good bed, a delicious breakfast with super fresh croissant and bread and friendly service. Thank you!

We didn't like it at all (and we're not the difficult kind though)

Ice-cold room on arrival, it took a long time for it to warm up more or less.
But the worst is the toilet in the room!!!
Same for the shower.
Cold decoration and tristounette.
Nobody at lunch, we waited a while for the arrival of the manager..always in a room without heating.
The positive, friendly welcome.

Atypical and great view on abbey

Small heating problem when arriving hence the 4 out of 5
Otherwise top and quality breakfast
Spacious and clean room
The owner is very kind and kind
We even left with a local beer to apologize. Thanks for the gesture.
We'll be back as soon as we have to stop in the area.

Pico bello, an original stay with a delicious breakfast and friendly service

We stayed here for 1 night and were extremely satisfied. We received a code and information about the key by email. Everything was ready as agreed and because of this system we were not limited to an hour, which suited us very well because we only arrived after midnight. The room was an adventure in itself with toilet and shower hidden behind a curtain. Nicely decorated and a good bed. An extensive breakfast and a very friendly owner made our stay a nice experience, even in the bad gray weather.

Between average and good.

The staff (lady) is very friendly.
On the other hand, not practical at all, the toilets in the room have just a curtain for separation.
The same goes for the shower located in a fabric tube with the shower head and an electric bulb above the head!
The sink mirror is very far away, so you can't use it for shaving or putting on makeup.
The safety box placed under the sink was broken.
As for the tranquility: impeccable despite the Scottish weekend which took place not far away.
Breathtaking view of the ruins of the abbey!!!
Fair price.
The breakfast with local products is more than perfect!!!!
I therefore recommend this small hotel.
