Good value for money and great location

The location was perfect, close to the beach and the center, everything was possible on foot. Breakfast had lots of choices, scrambled eggs were not well cooked, the same for bacon. No milk available at the buffet, you had to take it cold at the buffet and heat it in the microwave at the reception, not very practical...
The room could use a little fresh air, the paint lets go in places. And the bunk bed is very dangerous because not perfectly against the wall, so my daughter prone to falling out of bed, it was not ideal.

An old hotel , a room in the attic of the building for a rate like any other ... mouth shower , 2 single bed stick while we have to pay for a large double bed .... A lunch on the other hand rather qualitative there is everything is good

Mistakes..

After checking in we go to the room... which unfortunately turns out not to be made up. This was taken care of while we were offered a drink.
Some time later I received the message that "the room would be ready by now, you may go upstairs". I went to check but room wasn't ready.
It would have been more correct if the staff validated this before assuming that it would be okay in the meantime.
Yet a pity that at a professional hotel - where preparing rooms for the next customer is still part of their core business - no control system is followed so that these mistakes can not happen.
The breakfast was fine. Well-kept and wide range.
I'm afraid we'll try a different hotel on a next visit to Ostend.

Cozy hotel in a nice location.

Cozy hotel, in a good location between commercial part of the city and the seawall.
Neat and well-kept common areas and individual rooms.
A small dispute, concerning whether or not breakfast is booked. Upon presentation of a copy of the booking, this was immediately remedied.
Quiet rooms with a neat bathroom.
Good breakfast. Good breakfast.
Price quality correct.
Friendly service at reception and in the breakfast room.
