Everything was great. Love the location near the train station. Great staff, clean rooms, peaceful, good space to study/read.

One week - would not stay any longer

Stayed there with two other friend for a university thing on the campus near by. All in all it wasn’t that bad but the showeres?!!? There are like 5 drops coming out of the shower head?! Felt really really dirty at the end of the week. Also the breakfast was really disappointing - at the first day they had many things to choose from but as the days went by they had progressively less options?! Why?! Also maybe only one or two vegan options - again, sometimes even none?! We also could not book the hostel without breakfast.

Ideal location to book an overnight stay for a city trip in Hasselt if you travel by train.

Budget overnight stay

Pretty okay stay for the price. It's still a hostel so you have to adjust your expectations accordingly imo.
The bathroom was smelly but it wasn't unclean, so I really don't know where it came from.

Weekend trip

When we arrived the stay was very friendly, they checked us in and we payed a small tourist tax from around 2,36 euro per person, but we had an email about that. We got fresh sheets and a badge. There was an elevator in the building. The room was clean and above the bed we had an charger for the phone and a little light. Everything was working in the room, the hearing, the shower was good and the bathroom was big, the lights were working. The room is basic but it is normal for a hostel, most important for us is that is was clean and warm. We had an breakfast included, which was surprising because we did not pay a lot for our stay. Beakfast was sandwiches with ham, jam cheese, salami or chocolate spread. There were also some little chocolate rolls. There was coffee and apple juice. When something was empty you just had to ask it at they reception and the staff immeadiatly came. We had a good stay and the location was very good. There was a possibility to park for free next to the hostel so no extra costs. I would recommend this hostel to my friends. It was basic but for this price you get everything you need or even more and very friendly staff! :)
