Home on vacation!
Right on the boulevard, a room with a view of the sea, window with mosquito net (so always open) two fine chairs, a comfortable bed (it seemed soft but slept fine), not large but pleasant bathroom with toilet, sink and shower / bath. Spacious cupboards to store or hang your belongings. A small fridge to keep your drinks cool (very nice during a heat wave).
Breakfast is included. You can use it in the bright breakfast room, in the cosy bar or on the spacious terrace. Coffee and tea fresh in those beautiful silver jugs, a buffet with everything you can think of and what is not there is prepared for you.
Parking in an enclosed parking lot does not cause any concern. The whole of De Haan and the Belgian coast can be reached on foot or by coastal tram. In De Haan, no apartment cliff, but a friendly boulevard that invites you for a drink, a snack or an ice cream... or nothing at all and gazing over the sea.

New team, new formula!
Bingo: Welcoming is simply charming, warm, attentive. The staff is really taking care of the guests without any false ratings. The breakfast buffet is rich, fresh and varied.
Only downside for the old regulars of the house: the hotel no longer makes restaurant, while we came from far away to taste its delicious lobsters... There is a small catering until 6:30 p.m. some days of the week, but that's all.
You can understand the strategic choice of the team, but a hotel whose door is locked at 9pm in the middle of the season is a bit tristounet...
Suggestion: why not keep only an oyster bar and lobsters, which would then find their place in the pool (where goldfish have taken their place in the meantime)?
But let’s give time, and encourage this very friendly team!

Definitely worth repeating
We immediately felt at home here. Warm, friendly reception.
Delicious and rich breakfast.
We only stayed there 2 nights this time but we definitely return there .
