Exactly as advertised...with a bonus

I booked Het Kloosterzicht for a single night. The photos from the website were great and, on arrival, the property was better than expected. The owners, David and Ann, live next door, the rental property was actually a full house with 2 bedrooms, and a full kitchen. It seemed and probably was almost newly built. The rear yard had a real nice sitting area and even a hammock. Everything was very clean. David and Ann were very easy to work with which makes renting a property online from another continent that much more pleasant. Borgloon is a very nice town and while Het Kloosterzicht is a bit out of the way, it is in a very quiet neighborhood and a very short drive from town. The bonus (and maybe why it was so peaceful) was Het Kloosterzicht's rear yard shares a common wall with a church and its cemetery. Frankly, we all loved it (the neighbors are so quiet). The rental price was really good compared to others in the area as well as for the newness and size of the house (sleeps 6). Honestly, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would have no problem staying again or referring it to others.

Een oase van rust !

Heel vriendelijk onthaal. De kachel stond al aan ! ( Had de tijd van aankomst gegeven ) Geweldig advies over een restaurant in de buurt ( dEntrecote: heerlijk vlees !) lekker warm bad bij aankomst . Lekkere bedden . Een knus verblijf ! Ontbijt vroeg mogelijk .

Ook genieten in het najaar

De voorzieningen van vakantiewoning Het Kloosterzicht waren boven alle verwachtingen. Ook in het najaar een aanrader. De pelletkachel biedt niet alleen warmte maar ook sfeer in de leefruimte. Verder kom je niets tekort want, hoewel het niet nodig was, geen enkele vraag leek de eigenaars teveel. Tevens werd rekening gehouden met een baby. De babystoel en het reisbedje waren al geïnstalleerd bij aankomst. Bij aankomst waren de eigenaars niet thuis maar wanneer ze arriveerden, zwaaiden ze ons al tegemoet en werd kort (en op Covid-vriendelijke wijze) toelichting gegeven over het afvalbeleid en de werking van de verwarming. Het is fijn vertoeven in Borgloon met wandelingen langs bv. het doorkijkkerkje 'Reading between the lines', een halfuurtje rijden tot Hasselt en Domein Bokrijk.

Super vakantiewoning!!!!

Héél goed uitgeruste vakantiewoning voorzien van alle gemakken.
Zelfs basisprodukten zoals koffie/water/melk/kruiden waren er aanwezig.+++

Mooi ingericht
Toffe frisse:-) kelder speciaal ingericht voor de kinderen met pooltafel/darts/gezelschapsspelen
Goede matrassen
Rustig gelegen in een PRACHTIGE streek op boogscheut van tal van mooie steden en interessante plaatsen.
Tip:-) : het duurt vrij lang eer er warm water is in keuken en badkamer/ een (kleer)kastje of dergelijke in de slaapkamer zou handig zijn om spullen in op te bergen
Ideale vakantiewoning voor gezin met kinderen,voor 6volwassenen mss iets aan de krappe kant
1 van de beste vakantiewoningen die we al bezocht hebben!++++++++++++

Muy bueno

La casa es regia, tiene de todo.
Ademas habia todo lo imdispensable, como café, té, aceite, etc etc. Por estar tres noches teniamos una canasta con desayuno.
venia con tanta cosa que ni siquiere usamos todo.
Los,dueños son un encanto
