Honeymoon in Belarus

We rested on August 15-17, rooms were available, we booked the same day, thanks to the hotel for the discount and the opportunity to check out from the hotel until 15.00, and not until 12.00 (like newlyweds), this is a very big plus and attitude. The location is wonderful, the windows overlook on the reservoir, very calm. The view from the room is very beautiful. There is guarded parking. The room is cozy and spacious. Cleaning is daily, the rooms have slippers, disposable toothbrushes with toothpaste, shampoos, towels are clean and in good condition, as well as bathrobes, a refrigerator There is a water cooler on each floor (hot and cold).
Breakfast, we decided to see what was included and pay on the spot if we wanted. Buffet, there is a choice of food: porridge (very tasty), fried brisket, sausages, boiled and fried eggs, scrambled eggs, cervelat, red fish (salmon or salmon) vegetables , apples, yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, nuts, canned peaches, jams, juices, coffee, tea, everything is fresh and very tasty, you can have a hearty meal for the whole day, 20 rubles per person.
Friendly and polite staff at the reception and restaurant. Thank you to the hotel for your hospitality.

Noisy, stuffy, not comfortable

Visited Minsk from May 24 to 26, 2024. The room is standard - spacious, the plumbing is in order, there were towels, the breakfast was decent - that's probably all the advantages. Disadvantages - NO AIR CONDITIONER in the room! They are only available in deluxe rooms. There are also no bathrobes, slippers, or kettle. The refrigerator didn't work at all. There was always something humming in the room from above or from the side - it was unclear where (even the maid noticed - why is it buzzing so much?). The light in the hallway of the room periodically turned on on its own, although in theory it should only be when someone is in the hallway. Since there was no air conditioning, I had to sleep with the window slightly open, and the windows overlook the intersection of two large streets, plus on both evenings a group of men gathered under the windows at the bus stop, chatting loudly, singing, drinking until late at night (until 3 in the morning, to be exact ). It was very audible - but you couldn’t close the window!
In general, if you go to this hotel, take a suite if you want to sleep at night.

Convenient, Efficient, Professional, Comfortable

I chose the Arena hotel for one night after arriving about 8pm from Vilnius. Minsk is a huge city and the airport is far from the city. This hotel is literally at the end of the highway before you get into central Minsk. As such it’s the closest thing to an airport hotel. It’s a good base if you fly in and want to be near the westbound highway if you’re doing a Road trip across Belarus the next day. So it was convenient. Check in was super efficient. Tatsiyana, the night receptionist, was cheerful and welcoming , and ready with information as needed . She explained the registration requirements for Belarus, which are unusual for Europe, and took care of everything professionally. When I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised to find it well appointed , far better than I expected for a hotel I chose largely for its convenience more than anything. WiFi was excellent. There is a bank across the street so it’s easy to change money (dollar is your best bet in Belarus). There’s an on-site third party restaurant which has a decent breakfast buffet for 7 USD. Highly recommend if you want to stay one night and be close to highways , and it really is as close as you can get to the airport if you’ve arrived at a strange hour. They’ll even arrange a transfer for a charge, which is useful as rentacar offices close at 7.30 and taxis are a bit pricey

Nice, good value for money, not very busy...

Very modern, well kept, clean. Large rooms, comfortable and very quiet. Buffet breakfast, average quality. Efficient service. Wifi free and very fast.
There is an annexed restaurant, again not expensive and good quality for money - nothing fancy but OK if you are here for business.
When I was there was almost empty... this makes it even more quiet...
Very close to the hokey-on-ice arena (hence the name of the hotel) and to a very large park and a nice lake. Do not try to walk around the lake, it is impossible. You might end up like myself, walking 2 hours and then looking for a taxi to return hotel...

We received a great customer service

We needed assitance with regard to an issue with had, and we called the support. The problem was resolved in a very professional manner. Special thanks to Alina, who was very attentive and polite, who called us back and made sure to help us out with the situation. The rooms in the hotel are tidy and have all the amenities. The prices are very reasonable, even during the holiday season.
