A well-maintained and well-located hotel for a quiet or active vacation with excellent cuisine
Here we immediately feel warmly welcomed and ready for a relaxing and active vacation without any adjustment period! From here you can go on great hikes and mountain tours, ride a bike along the Drava, or take the free bus to Lienz to stroll around. Motorcyclists will also find great tours! Italy is not far away, so a visit to Innichen or Bruneck is always on the agenda. For children, there is also an adventure park in the town.
Markus is always available for questions and gives valuable tips for the day.
In the afternoon or evening, you can sit in the well-kept garden with a glass of beer or a cocktail and exchange stories about the day's experiences.
The highlight is the excellent dinner prepared by the junior chef! A great 4-course menu leaves nothing to be desired! So definitely book the half-board!
The rooms are up to date and very well-maintained. Most have a balcony.
We can highly recommend the hotel and we will come back next year!

A Perfect Stay in Every Way!
We especially appreciated the warm and welcoming owners, who create such a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and always spotlessly clean.
The cuisine deserves special praise as well. The breakfasts were excellent with a great selection, and the four-course dinners were simply outstanding – a true culinary experience that we looked forward to every evening. We also loved spending time in the lovely garden, which was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.
Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We left completely satisfied and would highly recommend Hotel Gesser to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday. We would be delighted to come back again.
