Fantastisch

Een week met gezin en hond op vakantie geweest. Prachtige omgeving, mooie ski en langlauf gebieden in de buurt, groot en schoon appartement en een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Alle reden om nog een keer terug te gaan.

Adequate quality for reasonable price

I've stayed in this hotel at least 6 times in last 10 years. The rooms were always clean, the owners are helpful and the area is very quiet. You might have small troubles parking in high season. The facitility is perfect for bigger groups, because the apartmenets are large and you can be all together on one floor etc. On/from the way to slopes you can always do normal shopping in Mauterndorf without any detour. I was there only in winters.

Ski apartments

We stayed in a self catering apartment at this chalet. Although it is quite far from the ski slopes, it is in a peaceful location. The accommodation is quite basic but adequate. Parking is a bit of a problem since the car park is quite small and at the weekends lots of people come to the restaurant in the same building.We had to park quite far from the chalet. There is a "sofa come pull out bed" in the living room which is really only comfortable enough for small people or kids.Not all the light bulbs were working in the apartment. The main bedroom was OK but the beds were quite small. The bathroom was a bit cramped and the shower very small. There wasn't a bath.
There was a TV with satellite which had quite a few international channels.
I tried the sauna which was fine. However, the sauna is not open every day.
You can ski nearby in Obertauern (about 22 Kms) or Mauterndorf (about 8 Kms) as well as some smaller runs nearby.
There aren't any restaurants within close proximity unless you include the in-house restaurant which was expensive.
The landlady was very pleasant and spoke quite good English.They even gave children some Easter chocolate on Easter Sunday delivered to our apartments, which was a nice touch.
Most other guests we met were Czech.
Overall not bad value for money, but certainly not doorstep skiing and you really do need a car to get to the slopes and restaurants in the evening.

Pohoda

Prijemne apartmany s utulnym drevenym oblozenim a pohodlnym zarizenim. Pokoj je pomerne prostorny s dostatkem skrini. Parkovani u domu. Nevyhodou je velmi slaba wi-fi. Radeji jsme pouzivali mobilni data. V apartmanu nebyla mycka nadobi ani mikrovlnka.

Ferienwohnung

Sehr schöne große Wohnung in ruhige Lage. Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer OK.
Sanitär funzoniert perfekt aber ist etwas altmodisch.
Pluspunkt ist die freundliche Gastfrau und Gastgeber. Sie haben auch wirklich gute Weine.
