Great house, super nice staff and culinary delight with great wellness area
Hotel Schachner is a highly recommended seminar hotel for anyone who wants to combine further education with peace, quality and genuine reflection.
The seminar areas are functionally equipped and offer everything necessary for professional training and workshops – from good technical equipment to flexible rooms for group work. It is particularly positive that concentrated work can be implemented well here, without distraction from a hectic hotel business.
The culinary supply is also tailored to seminar groups and ensures stable energy throughout the day.
Overall, a coherent overall picture is created from a professional seminar environment and a pleasant, personal atmosphere. The house is a very good choice for training formats in which, in addition to knowledge transfer, development, exchange and reflection are also the focus.

Disappointing! Does not deliver what it promises! Not a hotel for recharging one's energy. There is a lack of creativity and sensitivity here!
The pool area on the top floor offers neither peace nor relaxation, as screaming children may have their fun, but they make it impossible for those seeking tranquility to relax.
There is no table reservation system. Here, the Stone Age motto applies: Fight for the desired spot. Guest requests are not accommodated.

Als familiengeführtes Hotel begrüßen wir unterschiedliche Gästegruppen und sind stets bemüht, für alle Gäste eine angenehme Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Wir verstehen, dass die Nutzung des Poolbereichs von Familien mit Kindern von Gästen, die absolute Ruhe suchen, unterschiedlich wahrgenommen werden kann.
Auch Ihre Anmerkung zur Platzwahl im Restaurant nehmen wir ernst. Gerne versuchen wir, individuelle Wünsche zu berücksichtigen, bitten jedoch um Verständnis, dass dies bei hoher Auslastung nicht immer in jedem Fall möglich ist.

Infinity Pool unfortunately too cold
For us the pool definitely too cold, so for us a reason not to come anymore! Wellness area was nice, the room in the neighboring building are unfortunately very confusing when booking

Die Wassertemperatur im Infinity Pool liegt konstant bei rund 32 °C – eine höhere Erwärmung ist derzeit technisch leider nicht möglich. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass im Rahmen unseres nächsten Umbaus bereits ein zusätzliches Becken mit etwa 36 °C fix eingeplant ist.

Shame Hotel
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel in Austria. The management and staff were often unfriendly and unhelpful, which made the stay uncomfortable. The food quality was below expectations, and in my opinion, the hotel does not meet the standard of a 4-star establishment — it feels closer to a 2-star level. For the same price, you can find much better options in Tyrol that offer higher quality service and a more pleasant atmosphere.
