Accommodation for one night in Linz city center

Check-in was a bit tricky and somewhat confusing, but the staff was always available by phone and very kind and helpful. The location is great, making the value for money excellent. Wall decorations add a lot of charm, and the cleanliness was perfectly fine, though the paint is worn in several places, giving the space a slightly run-down vibe. Despite some obvious drawbacks, I would gladly choose this place again if needed.

NEVER again

Really a terrible accommodation that I would not call a hotel.
Even at the low price, one can expect better.
Chipped paint on the walls, a bed with threads hanging out, and one can see the greasy headprints of previous sleepers. Dirty walls and windows. Defective blinds. Unloving. No staff in sight. NEVER again!

Es tut uns leid, dass dein Aufenthalt bei uns nicht den Erwartungen entsprochen hat – das ist definitiv nicht der Eindruck, den wir hinterlassen wollen. Mama Muh ist bewusst ein einfaches, sehr preiswertes Haus im Herzen von Linz, aber Sauberkeit und gepflegte Zimmer sollten trotzdem selbstverständlich sein. Deine Hinweise zu Wänden, Bett und Rollos nehmen wir uns zu Herzen und kümmern uns darum. Falls du uns noch eine Chance geben möchtest, melde dich gerne direkt bei uns. Just cheap.

It was just underground and grotto bad. An absolute disappointment. Ok, the very cheap price is tempting. But it was thoroughly favorable. From the bed that was more than ground level and simplest, of the simplest kind a darkening, storage smallest, lubricated walls, broken lock inside, old doors, etc. Check-in apparatus in a tasted old furniture, badly explained, etc... But the most repulsive was the smell of old hotel and inn, which welcomes you upon entering the building. Too bad and disappointing. That the operator of the Hotel Schwarzer Baer affords this is incomprehensible and rubs off. Absolutely not a recommendation. 150m further on, you solve it exemplary, I have moved.

Hallo, danke für die ausführliche Rückmeldung. Der Geruch beim Betreten und das kaputte Schloss sind Dinge, die wir uns genau anschauen – das darf so nicht sein. Central location but noisy ventilation

Location central, rooms actually also ok but sleep impossible because of extremely loud ventilation that has been buzzing all night. Room 112 is definitely not recommended.

For the price ok but very noisy

In itself very central and with the 24h check quite well.
Checking in with QR code is not really possible at night. In general, this area should be better lit.
The rooms are ok for the price but you just hear everything from the corridors and the other rooms. Better insulation would be appropriate
