Review Hotel Muntanella – Oberlech
Very nice reception and excellently organized luggage transport to Oberlech. The owners are extremely accommodating and prepare the breakfast themselves daily – as much more in the hotel. The healthy and varied breakfast leaves nothing to be desired: wide selection, high-quality products and a fine selection of hot drinks, including matcha – very delicious.
The location is perfect: in the middle of Oberlech, strap on skis or put them down directly in front of the hotel and directly on the slopes – it couldn’t get better.
The whole place is pipipiein, extremely well maintained and very clean. The decor is a successful mix of modern style and rustic charm.
The wellness area offers a sauna, a steam bath, infrared armchairs and a relaxation room – all very nicely designed and ideal for relaxing after a day of skiing.
We would recommend this place anytime. Dogs are not allowed, but not out of rejection, but due to allergies of the hosts.
The ski storage is very cozy and practical, and the pool table is perfect for a round or two in the evening.
We will come back!

This is the best place to stay in Lech

What an exceptional place to stay. The accommodation was first class, and the hotel team was second to none. Very family friendly, plus incredible food and cocktails. I'll be back, hopefully many times!

Simply the best!

We spent 2 weeks as a large family group in January 2023. You cannot fault the hospitality, facilities, breakfast and overall ambience of Muntanella. The rooms have been recently renovated so they are very comfortable. Housekeeping is exceptional (the housekeeper is the best we have ever encountered). Breakfast is a mixture of fresh fruits, muesli, cereals, bread, cold meats and cheese, bacon and eggs, variety of juices and hot drinks. Small bar for a quick schnapps or beer after skiing. The wellness centre is a fantastic place to relax after skiing to soothe the aching muscles. Location is perfect at the top of the gondola in Oberlech. The hosts are wonderful, speak English, full of help with everything you need for your perfect travel visit.

Excellent accommodation

Perfect for our skiing holiday. Light and airy big rooms, ski in ski out, great food,Very conveniently located. Highly recommend it. Patrick and Sabine couldn't be more helpful. And very comfortable and reasonably priced.

Excellent stay

We are thrilled to have found the Muntanella. It is very conveniently located in Oberlech, rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean with balconies. Friendly and kind staff, a spacious boot room with padded seats, great breakfast with delicious homemade pancakes every morning. There is a very nice sauna area and I believe there will be a steam room by next year. Also relatively reasonably priced. In fact we liked it so much we have already booked for next year.

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note that a street between Lech and Warth is closed in winter. Please also note that in winter, the property can only be reached by cable car from Lech. The cable car to Oberlech and the hotel operates non-stop from 07:00 to 01:00. When guests own a ski pass, no extra fee has to be paid for the cable car. Oberlech is car-free in winter and public indoor parking is available against surcharge and on request next to the cable car station in Lech. Your luggage will be transported from the cable car station to the property. During summer guests can park the car in front of the property.
