The true definition of ”Österreichische Gemütlichkeit”
For us, this ’pansion’ was pretty much the perfect holiday place. Away from the busy center of Kitzbühel, but still within 15-20 minutes of one of the main gondola station. Peaceful, but not boring (due to a pretty active common area). Top-notch friendly service, but not overbearing.
And all this for an increbidly good price.
Really, we were so happy to be able to stay at such a place, that we were immedtiately discussing: ”should we make this pansion our standard yearly Winter holiday getaway?”, ”should we come here in the Summer to see Kitzbühel/the area during that season too?”, etc.
And all this primarily thanks to the true ”Österreichische Gemütlichkeit” of Maria, the owner and host of Pansion Feiersinger. She is the star that makes this place shine.
There was absolutely no request she didn’t try to fulfill, nor did she do any of them with making a face. Truly a special, people-friendly person. Even after so many years of running the place. Amazing!
Probably some of you will be curious about other aspects of the pansion as well, so here’s a short summary to end our highly positive review:
The rooms were spacious, clean, with great views of Kitzbühel/mountains and just extremely charming. The breakfast was rich enough for a pansion, especially considering the offer of freshly prepared eggs (of your choice). The storage areas had plenty of space. The whole pansion was peaceful & quiet (which might’ve been our luck as we were there during an off week). The service we already commented about, but to reiterate: it is probably the best service we have ever received.
So really, what more do you want? Do you want to party loud and have full-out fun all throughout the night? Then find an appropriate place for that.
Do you want to have a super peaceful vacation and rest after a long day of skiing/snowshoe hiking/whatever? Then come here to relax and recharge. You won’t regret it!

A Wonderful Place to Stay!
The double room was simply furnished, very warm and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom but very best of all was the balcony with views to the mountains across Kitzbuhel, the Horn and to the gondolas going up the Hannenkam. Bliss!
Breakfasts were simple, ample and enjoyable.
We love it here and would whole heartedly recommend Pension Feiersinger!
