Great location for ski holidays
We were on a ski vacation and the location was fantastic - less than a 5 minute walk to the Tram and more than half of the walk is under cover. Our 1 bedroom apartment was very comfortable and the daily room service was a nice perk. Breakfast at the main hotel (hotel madlein) had lots of cold and hot options and getting a table was never a problem. Once at this location, use of a car is not necessary - plenty of restaurants nearby and two grocery stores within walking distance (ie 3 minutes to nearest one, 7-8 minutes to the other which was significantly larger). Staff was very friendly - would stay again.

Great Location!
The location of the hotel is just great! Only a few minutes walking distance to the lift and slopes. Really enjoyed my time here at the Petit Madlein.

Disappointment, not recommended.
What is offered as the boutique surprise of Ischl turns out to be a great disappointment. Petit Madlein hangs as an afterthought at the hotel Madlein. Furnishings from the 1970s, laundry, mattresses and cleaning products are left everywhere and not cleaned up. Entrance difficult to pass through flower boxes. Spa poorly served, dangerously slippery. For breakfast in main house you have to walk around, road not cleared. Nothing can be booked in the room because you are staying in the annex, please pay immediately. Staff reception very inhospitable, complaints are not looked for a solution

Very very poor
It's terrible. Elevator not working. No proper access to hotel, no proper access to spa. Rubbish in hotel is just left. Worst experience in years! Poor service from staff. For a 2 star hotel more than insufficient

Winter Wonderland ✨
We first stayed at Hotel Madlein, then decided to extend our trip, they were fully booked — so we moved to Petit Madlein. The location is perfect, and the spa is absolutely stunning. We were very lucky and had a lot of snow so the spa looked like winter wonderland
