Lovely bar in Hallstatt centre

Really lovely little bar in the centre of Hallstatt, friendly staff, good beer and an awesome Aperol spritz… what more could you want on a wet day

Fantastic but

Our room was just like the pictures and the bed was really nice and comfortable. The young guy that checked us in was lovely and so was the lady who did breakfast. The issue with room 2 is it is just over the bar part and when people are smoking the smoke vents into the room and our final night, the bar was open till late and so much yelling and loud noise - it wasn’t funny and it really spoiled our trip. I don’t know what the other rooms are like!

Terrible service. Don’t recommend.

Terrible service. We arrived at the restaurant with a group of 6 and the older man who was serving was terribly rude during the hole service.
He kicked us out right after we finished our drinks when the space was praticaly empty.
And he charged us extra for a coffee that we didn’t TAKE.
Don’t recommend for FOREIGNS.

Charming B&B, nicely designed interior, personable staff

This was such a lovely stay at a charming B&B, literally located "in the middle" of Hallstatt. The owner and his colleagues were personable and most helpful for any questions.
The rooms are nicely designed, with bed, a small table and chairs, a couple of wall-mounted tables, and television. There is a kettle and coffeemaker as well. The bathroom is large and nicely set up, with the liquid soap/shower gel doubling as shampoo.
Breakfast is straightforward with coffee/tea, breads/croissants, charcuterie/cheese. They also offer scrambled eggs. Most importantly ;) there is apfelstrudel available at breakfast. On many evenings, the main floor is open for drinks.
Hallstatt is not very large, so it is easy to walk back and forth throughout and further over to trails, etc. It is nevertheless still worth noting that I da Mitt is at the main market square. This establishment is a minute to two minutes' walk from the ferry landing (the ferry brings people into Hallstatt proper after they alight from the train at Hallstatt Bahnst), so there is not far to go with your luggage.
There are only four rooms in this establishment, so we recommend booking ahead!

Great spot to enjoy a cold beer!

This is a top place for a beer with a very friendly bar tender, good background music & great ambience right in the centre of the village. A good spot from which to enjoy the constant stream of instagram & tiktok influencers trying to get their best shots!
