For us a perfect accommodation with down-to-earth family

Have felt very very comfortable super clean wanted to make only one through travel and have stayed 2 days very nice family come again we can only recommend since you are still a guest and no number like in many large hotels wish the family good luck and health thanks for the perfect stay

Great hotel and a lovely family

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our 4 days at the hotel. The owners are so kind and the rooms are cozy and comfortable! The location is just a few minutes walk away from the lifts. The sauna I enjoyed every night and was great! I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks!!!

Home away from Home

I would recommend this hotel:
it's very close to the Gondola (5-7 minutes walking), the family is very nice and attentive to all your needs,
breakfast has all you might need to start your active day,
pool and sauna is very nice and relaxing after all the day skiing,
there is a small supermarket downstairs - in case if you forgot something or need a drink or some groceries.
And of course, every time we feel here as we are at home.
Thank you very much, dear Birkenheim Family and see you all soon again!

Lovely family hotel

The owner was very welcoming. The room is good renovated and modern. They have their own supermarkt which is very comfortable to buy food and drinks.
The owner has promised us to get a family room with bath but when we were there, she forgot it so we had smaller room. Still comfortable but pity since we have young daughter. The breakfast was ok but not enough variations. Since we stay for 7 days we have expected a bit of variation in the breakfast. The housekeeper is very friendly and helpfull.

Comfortable, welcoming and helpful

This is a beautifully built and fitted out small hotel. The owners were charming and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. There is a well fitted out Health Centre though it wasn't much used while we were there.
We parked behind the hotel, over the river. As it was a winter holiday, it wasn't surprising our car wouldn't start after very low temperatures, but the owner was extremely helpful in getting us started, using his own vehicle to jump start us.
The Birkenheim is a short walk from one of the access lifts and a short walk from the restaurants in the centre of Gerlos.
Overall, we were delighted with our 4 days there.
