Wonderful, charming, friendly hotel

This is a family run hotel and the warm welcome is wonderful. Elizabeth (owner) was responsive and extremely helpful throughout the process. We booked our room and our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren booked there’s separately. Elizabeth quickly realised we were one family and upgraded our daughter’s room so our rooms were side by side with wonderful balcony views.
The breakfast is amazing, everything you can think of is provided, with various choices also freshly cooked to order.
The hotel is a tad dated but its traditional charm, cleanliness and warm welcome completely makes up for that. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this charming, friendly, welcoming hotel run expertly by Elizabeth and her husband.

Convenient to the center

Good hotel in great location. Good services suitable for families. Swimming pool, games room and room for the little ones. Nice free relaxation center.. Very kind staff
Excellent breakfasts. Parking and free Wi-Fi.
The only flaw? Certain things would need to be renewed

A wonderful hotel - highly recommended!

We stayed here for a week in July 2022 and had a wonderful room with a balcony with a magic view over the mountains. The hotel is located in the center of Fulpmes, close to buses and the trainstation. The food was suberp and the staff were very friendly and helpful and did their best to make our stay fantastic. We will definitely come back!

Great Hospitality

We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Our bedroom was very well appointed. Great views from the balcony. Pool and gardens very pleasant. Well situated for village amenities.

A warm welcome at this comfortable well-located hotel

Hotel Donnerhof is well placed in this lovely village, with great mountain views from the terrace and front balconies. Even my side bedroom on the 2nd floor had a view of the nearest peak above the pretty church steeple.
A good variety of food with a buffet breakfast to sustain a day's activities, comfortable ensuite rooms and a pool with sauna, steam room etc. The local bus service stops nearby and both the cable car and the Stubai train station are about 10 minutes walk.
What made our walking holiday outstanding was the warmth of hotel owner Elisabeth, who gave helpful guidance. She even rescued us when we missed the last cable car, arranging taxis to collect our group from halfway up a mountain!
