Quaint and modern at the same time

From the outside, the Gastagwirt seems to be a relatively large complex, and the facade from the entrance area is unfortunately not really inviting. However, this impression is quickly corrected. The rustic hallways are perfectly combined with modern rooms. Absolute feel-good factor. In addition, there is an incredibly extensive breakfast. If you don't find anything here, you won't be happy in life.

One of the best inns we know!!!

We are now a regular when we go back to Salzburg from our son in Upper Austria. It was always a culinary experience. And very comfortable to sit, whether outside on the terrace under the large marquise or inside in the dining room. Just today again. Jägerpfandl was so delicious and so perfectly cooked with regional products. Last time I was a senior, I ordered a kid's bakery. I then thought, if the children's portion is already so large, what does the adult portion look like? The landlords are very friendly and always looking after the well-being of the guests. The service staff very friendly. All in all, as I said, one of the best inns.

Enjoy quality breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere

We were there for birthday breakfast. This breakfast buffet is great! The selection is incredibly diverse – great selection of the best pastries and bread, cold cuts, spreads, salmon, cheese, jams and fresh vegetables and fruit salad. Hot dishes from scrambled eggs to fried eggs with bacon are also perfectly prepared. I was particularly impressed by the high quality of the ingredients – all fresh, lovingly arranged and a pleasure in taste!
Big praise also to the service team: Super friendly, attentive and competent!
Here you really feel welcome and well looked after.

My daughter and I stayed with our 2 dogs (breed pug) for one night at the Gastagwirt. A spacious room with great views, wonderful dinner and breakfast, even a small snack on the day of arrival, was offered to us. The dogs were also welcome in the dining room! We agreed, we have never met so many courteous, gracious people in a hotel. Starting with the reception, about the serving staff and the cleaning ladies, all with smiling faces! Excellent food and drinks

Were back for dinner, great hospitality. Very friendly, attentive staff. Excellent food and large portions. Quick service although very many guests were Although all other restaurants had rest day, was open here. Would definitely come back.
