Great holiday in a family-run and family-friendly hotel
Friendly staff, very good breakfast buffet and cuisine with a high proportion of regional products.
Associated beach bath with direct lake access and enough sunbeds for each guest.
Perfect location for hiking or biking in the Nockberge mountains or around Lake Millstatt.
Large dining garden for leisurely dining outside or then for later sipping in the Post Scriptum
You feel completely comfortable and well looked after, whether on a hiking tour or with tips for biking

My recommendation
All the staff at the reception, the service at breakfast and dinner were extremely friendly and helpful - including the boss (Kern family). Special thanks to Mrs Sabrina at the reception for the nice conversations.
The hotel leaves a very positive organized impression, the cleanliness is exemplary and the food we liked very much.
We can recommend the hotel "Zur Post" with a clear conscience.

Never again!
Unfortunately, we are very disappointed! Especially for the price of 200 euros per night without meals....
The decor is old and much broken!
If you want to open the window, you unfortunately have it completely in your hand, which is really life-threatening!
There is no way to darken the rooms!
If you want to pull away the white see-through curtains to open the windows, you are not able to put them back in position because everything is tearing down!
But we would have overlooked all this because we were only there to sleep.
BUT..... the cleanliness!!!!!
I've never seen so much dirt on the floor from a freshly moved-in apartment. Under the dining table was certainly cleaned by the predecessor, if anyone was there in the last two years!!!
And I've never seen so many cobwebs in one place in my life! On the first evening we were really busy disposing of weavers and spiders!
The bathroom seemed clean at first glance. Until I turned the toothbrush cup over to put the brushes in.
We will definitely not be back! Too bad about every cent!
