Hiking days

Good room size, and enough storage space in the bathroom. Large balcony.
Beautiful ambiance throughout the hotel. Food was good, breakfast excellent. Staff consistently friendly

Good but with remarks for dinner

Hotel is clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was more than OK. But the main dishes during dinner we usually did not like. Once we got a beef squash with lentils. The meat was terribly tough and the combination with lentils was not OK. On other days there were also strange combinations that were not tasty. Tip, keep the food simple instead of trying to do special.

Good location with great value for money

We were welcomed nicely and provided with initial information. To our delight, we were able to move into our room around lunchtime. The room we booked was perfect for the three of us with two separate sleeping areas; elsewhere it would probably be called a suite and offered more expensively.
Nice wellness area, fine evening menu, good breakfast, impeccable Service. Bus stop Gortipohl center just around the corner.

Nice and very clean hotel

Very nice hotel with stop for the ski bus a short walk away. We were here with a group of friends for winter sports. We were kindly received, all the staff are very nice. Rooms are spacious and tidy and the beds are fine. Also nice that you get bathrobes and a special bag for the sauna with sauna towels. Breakfast is good with many types of bread. I did miss fruit, they only had apples and a fruit salad. Dinner was also fine, with sometimes an evening when it was a bit disappointing. Again was always very good and fresh bread. I especially liked the soups. And the vegetable lasagna was also delicious.
There is also a cozy little room where you can sit and play games, we have sat there every night which is very nice if you are in a group. Also in the lobby are all seats and a fireplace which I also found cozy.
There are 2 small saunas and a steam room and sun beds. You could grab tea and apples there, which I think is a nice gesture.
Ski depot is also neat and spacious. Nice that we came there the last day and that there was gluhwein ready.
I'd especially like to compliment the cleaning ladies. I am critical in this, but found the cleaning of the rooms and for example also the sauna very neat.

Everything is just right in this hotel!
Starting with the warm champagne reception and continuing with the modern rooms, we felt very comfortable right from the start. Our ski equipment found a perfect storage place in the functional ski cellar.
The atmospheric sauna area offered gave us a very good opportunity to relax. The food - a really great breakfast with a surprise every day, as well as a delicious 4-course menu in the evening - leaves nothing to be desired. Not to forget, of course, the always friendly and always helpful staff. The price-performance ratio was also good.
