Agape for the wedding - Best decision!
We celebrated our Agape on the occasion of our wedding on May 15, 2026, at Chalet Sonne in Vandans and could not have wished for a better decision.
From the very beginning, everyone was incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating. Daniel and Janine are perfect hosts and ensured that everything went smoothly. Since the weather unfortunately did not cooperate, the Agape was quickly moved to the large hall. Additionally, a cozy fire was made in the fireplace room, so despite the cold, a beautiful and warm atmosphere was created.
The large garden and the entire facility are designed with great attention to detail and provide the perfect setting for a celebration. Even though the weather was not optimal, a great solution was found for everything, and we were able to enjoy our special day to the fullest.
A big thank you to Janine and Daniel and to the entire team - we can wholeheartedly recommend Chalet Sonne!

Comfortable family hotel for sportive holidays
We stayed both in a cozy wood paneled room in the original building as well as in a more modern, perhaps more comfortable room in the newer annex where also the pool and fitness are located. Of course, both rooms were spotlessly clean. We particularly like the friendly atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. All members of our family agree that the food quality is clearly above what can be expected in this price range. Add to this the availability of a ski lift within walking distance, the flexibility in booking arrangements, and it's clear why we come back each year.

Gemütliches Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre
Die Sonne Vandans kann unter der neuen Leitung (Daniel und Janine) sehr überzeugen! Die Betten wurden in den letzten Jahren erneuert, die Bäder aufgefrischt und auch sonst viele kleine Details liebevoll renoviert. Die Gastfreundschaft ist geblieben, man fühlt sich vom ersten Augenblick an willkommen und irgendwie zu Hause. Die Buffets bei Frühstück und Abendessen sind vielfältig, abwechslungsreich und lecker. Wer auf den Charme eines historischen Gebäudes steht, sollte die Sonne unbedingt besuchen!

Horrible hôtel
Expérience horrible presque seuls dans cet immense hôtel à 500 m des pistes de ski on peut se poser des questions vu que c est la pleine saison personnel inexistant serviettes d un autre temps salle de bain horrible repas soi disant buffet avec menu unique et le matin catastrophique faut réclamer un bout de pain une tranche de charcuterie alors qu ils affichent des photos de grand luxe en plus d etres voleurs on nous a facture supplément week-end de 40€ qui n est précisé nulle part bref mauvais souvenir et pourtant cher cher bien trop cher

Freundlichkeit und Service
Wir waren skeptisch hinsichtlich der Bewertung im Booking.com, allerdings werden da uralte Bewertungen in Betracht gezogen.
Wir haben es gewagt zu buchen und wurden nicht enttäuscht.
Die junge Generation hat das Potential, die in der Vergangenheit unterlassene Erneuerung der Einrichtung, Stück für Stück, nachzuholen.
Wir hatten 4 super schöne Abende im Kaminzimmer, dieses wurde nicht nur so genannt, sondern es gab einen offenen Kamin, Holz nachlegen konnte man auch eigenständig. Der junge Eigentümer, ein sehr netter junger Mann, seine Partnerin, ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend und das ganze Team haben es uns leicht gemacht, uns hier wohl zu fühlen. Hier stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis.
