Nice hotel, good and quiet location

Nice hotel, the room (131 Küntzelspitze) was very tastefully decorated with lots of space, balcony and absolutely quiet. The ski bus stops outside the door, the supermarket is not far on foot. There are also apartments with kitchens for self-catering.
The breakfast selection was sufficient and delicious for us, especially the cheese and dairy products from the neighbors.
There is a small sauna and a small steam bath, but they fill up quickly.
I would rather give it 3* Plus, for 4 stars I would have liked the minibar (or a small refrigerator in the room) and a little more in the bathroom like body lotion, cotton buds and hotel slippers, as well as a larger wellness area.
The owner is there a lot, very nice and helpful.
There are enough parking spaces, including an underground car park.
We really felt at home!

Good service and nice rooms

The restaurant was not open so we walked 300 meter to a nice one. Apart from that the rooms where fine and the service really good and helpful. Breakfast was good and parking just outside your window. The area is quite and safe.

Spectacular mountain view ski hotel

Located just 1 km away from the Diedamskopf cable car in Au in the Bregenz Forest, Hotel Alpenrose offers a great location in the middle of a large ski area. There is a free ski bus to take you to the lift. This is a charming hotel with friendly staff. The hotel has a spa with sauna, a steam bath, and a Kneipp pool.
