Would stay again

I stayed 1 night.
The unpowered sites are not actually marked, it's a grassy side where you can just pull up anywhere. The park is nice and green, the pool area is pretty, although I didn't use the pool.
Right behind the caravan park is the beach.
The toilet block near the unpowered area was closed, that was a bit inconvenient but ok for the 1 night.
The kitchen is in an actual room and basic, there were some utensils and the basics like a toaster and kettle.
Everything was clean.
Great atmosphere around the food trucks.
I've arrived after hours so I didn't actually meet any of the staff, I got instructions via message.

Disgusting and overpriced $511 per night room only.

If zero was an option we would pick it. The train carriage had an awful stench not from the forest but from dirt. Pubic hair on sheets and stains. Exposed wires. Dead flies in windows and dirty windows. Stained cushion. Dead flies in light shades. Dirty windows exposed wires and mouldy bathroom and toilet and shower.

Thank you for your feedback. We acknowledge that the windows and sills required additional cleaning and apologise that this fell below our usual standard.
However, the remainder of the concerns raised were not brought to our attention at any time during your stay, despite our team being available to assist. Our post-departure inspection did not support the extent of the issues described.
We always encourage guests to notify us of any concerns while on site so they can be promptly addressed.

Don't Miss Daintree Beach Resort for Your Dinner Stop after a Day Exploring Over the River

This is another local secret: in addition to being a great caravan park and glamping site, the Daintree Beach Resort also hosts a phenomenal Melbourne chef who moved north for the tropical vibe. We love places where the passion of the team and their love of food make everything better. This is case with Daintree Beach Resort. Awesome food. Chill quiet relaxing vibe. Great spot to recount the day of adventures on the Daintree River and Cape Tribulation before finishing the drive back to your accommodation (unless of course you're already booked in at Daintree Beach Resort, which is absolutely the advice we'd give our family and friends). Nothing beats watching day turn to night with the Milky Way above and great drinks and food on your table. There isn't a single thing on the menu that we don't love. If the bruschetta or local barramundi are on the specials board, nab them quick before they sell out.

Awesome spot with great food and great coffee. We stayed in the train car and loved it. Staff was so friendly. Beach is gorgeous and so close. Live music every night. We loved it!
