Superb venue, memorable weekend

Superb venue for a memorable weekend celebration of friendship, laughs, fine wine and good food. Homestead and Shearers' Quarters acclaimed by interstate and overseas visitors. The MWH team seamlessly hosted a large group across two very different styles of accommodation with everyone feeling part of the action. Bluestone Stables complex the perfect setting for indoor, outdoor, relaxed and more formal partying. MWH collaboration in planning and attention to detail would be hard to beat. A great treat to have happy friendly staff who remembered people's names.

Relax, reconnect, rejoice - wonderful staff taking care of you, delightful environment, delicious food

Lovely escape from the city with beautiful surrounds, delicious food, delightful staff, and luxurious accommodation. This is more than a breakaway, it is an experience including a “happy hour” where you meet the other guests before moving into a shared dining event. Throughout the day you are encouraged to walk around the property and enjoy the amenities (swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, golf course…..) or simply read a book in one of the lounge areas. There’s even a TV room (with Foxtel). Close proximity to the Grampians affords some wonderful vistas or great walks ( depending on how active you want to be!).

Beautiful Hotel

Set in a remote location with The Grampian Mountains as a backdrop, this really is a get away from it place for relaxing. We stayed in The Armoury room which was lovely, a good size with a great bathroom. On arrival we were met by the lovely Julia who gave us the history of the place which has been passed down through the generations. As we were the only guests on our 1 night stay, we basically had our own private chef Stewart. I can honestly say the food he served was some of the best we’ve ever tasted. There’s a tennis court, swimming pool and sauna too. The sunset view is breathtaking. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Exceptional

Beautiful homestead in gorgeous setting. The organisation, hospitality and food were outstanding. Big shout outs to Julie, Pete and Jigsy who provided a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.
